"The Hotel Retreat Siargao Resort is an excellent location for all the people who wanted to visit Siargao. Jason Ha and the wife Reni is an excellent host. They will provide you with a bottle of red wine and a 7 course dinner on your first day in Siargao. The location is about 30 minutes from cloud 9 and from the Corgi Isla. "Pros: - less than a minute walk from the main Tourism Road, easy transportation - located very close to restaurants; cafes and party places - friendly hosts and staff; they were responsive through FB messenger Suggestions: - provide wall hooks/clothes hangers in the bathroom and in the room itself To add, there was construction happening in the property during the day - could be an issue if you're not a morning person."

"Location was right at the heart of Gen Luna so it's accessible and close to shops, restaurants and bars. Not too much to expect from the room. it just doesn't look the same as the pictures displayed on the website."

"Lovely stay in the beautiful island of Sairgao. Location is very convenient. Close to General Luna, boat pier and market, but located in quiet street. Lovely, friendly owners, they supported me with booking island tour and airport transfer. I rented a scooter one day from the B&B to explore the island, very reasonable price. Room is standard with warm electrical shower. Aircon works well but makes a lot of noise, but I slept well regardless. Power went out because of rain but it was restored...

"Cockroach and spider in our room. It's not worth it for the money we paid. We couldn't sleep worrying that Spiders and cockroaches would crawl into us while we were sleeping, so we left as soon as it hit 5 am."

"The facilities are really nice in general but the new rooftop hangout is going to really make this hostel stand out when things go back to normal. Such a great place to hangout, have drinks after surfing, watch movies on a rainy day or play play or other games with other travellers! Also loved the location and privacy the beds give you. Feels like your own little room inside your dorm"

"What an Aamzing hotel ! 1) The owner shares the same faith as I do which is a huge thing for me . 2) the staff are so friendly and helpful . I left my keys 3x on the door handle and my room was never opened . If you get there , talk with the owner and learn the history of the hotel . You’ll truly know the meaning of perseverance , hardwork and dedication . Glad I stayed at this hotel. "
