Terrapin Station is your new go-to all-season mountain escape; ski-in/ski-out to the Buttercup Chairlift + adjacent to the Buttercup Trail system, epic skiing, hiking, + biking are on the itinerary. One of the few 1BR/2BA townhomes in Tamarack Resort, it's perfect for couples/small groups craving an intimate cabin experience in nature. Enjoy modern amenities like a fully equipped kitchen, a relaxing hot tub, + a warm pellet stove for chilly nights. Plus, your furry friend is welcome too!

Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. Tamarack also offers a host of on-site dining and leisure activities, to include a spa, pickleball courts, and disc golf course. Be sure to check their schedule for hosted events and activities.

You'll have the entire home to yourself, including a fully-equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, private keyless entry, in-unit washer and dryer, covered patio, + private hot tub.

Open concept main level features a full bath with stand-up shower (you also have the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer), fully equipped kitchen for your cooking and baking needs, cozy living area with a wood burning fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and plenty of windows to take in the scenic mountain views. Have a great night's sleep on the Queen-sized sofa sleeper!

PRIMARY BEDROOM
Enjoy the comforts of your King bed and relax in the spa-like ensuite, complete with a large soaker tub and separate shower. The primary bedroom is on the second floor.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Terrapin Station has an exceptionally private covered back patio, and it's the perfect place to start your day with coffee and the sounds of nature; you can also have a cookout on the gas BBQ grill. A soak in your private hot tub is the perfect way to après or unwind after a day on the mountain. FYI This property does NOT have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort, and we recommend opening windows in the evening and closing them during the day.

PARKING
Please note guests do NOT have access to the detached garage. There is driveway parking for 1 vehicle, as well as 2 guest parking spots next to the home that are first-come-first-serve. For Guests with over-sized vehicles or boats, parking permits can be purchased from Tamarack Outfitters for their oversized lot. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.

SUMMER CONSTRUCTION NOTICE
Our mountain town has a short summer season, which means a compressed window for construction. New homes and road work happen quickly between June and September. While we update listings when we're aware of neighboring projects, we don't always have advance notice. If you're booking during warm weather months, it's safe to assume some construction activity may be happening nearby. We have no control over neighboring sites or noise, and unfortunately cannot provide refunds due to construction. That said, we're always here—reach out with questions, concerns, or noise complaints and we'll do what we can to help.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We don't make exceptions to the cancellation policy agreed to at booking—this maintains fairness for all guests. Please review your reservation's cancellation terms carefully before finalizing. Please note all refunds (other than stays booked on Airbnb) will be less any credit card processing fees. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind. Thanks for understanding.

A beautiful, peaceful retreat surrounded by trees and wildflowers. And birdsong. Super comfy bed, immaculate bathrooms and kitchen, and THE BEST hot tub ever. Took a lovely hike up the mountain and through the woods, marveled at the immensity of some of the homes under construction, picked some flowers and had a great burger down at the resort.

We had a great weekend getaway at this lovely place. The spa is very private, surrounded by lovely trees. The cabin is well appointed and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend for a couples getaway!

It was a perfect cabin steps away from the Buttercup lift! It had the option to use the main lodge facilities but the best was our own private, pristine hot tub! Such a nice place! Would definitely stay there again!
