"The room was fine. Built in 1904 so it is what you would suspect. Pool was full of leaves. The caretaker greeted us and told us she would prepare breakfast (frittatas etc) for us and we would eat around 8:30am-9:00am. We were downstairs around 8:30 and no sight of anyone. Two other couples came down and we waited until 9:45am. There was no “we are working on it or anything”. Actually no noise from the kitchen at all. All three couples left looking for breakfast. You can’t call it a bed and...

"Great location and great view from the upper porch. If you’re taking the ferry to Cumberland Island, you’ll be right across the street.
There is no dedicated parking. They offer a free breakfast but it wasn’t set up one of our two mornings, no one was at the desk to get ice, there was not even a way to get coffee.
There were 4 of us- 3 adults and a child. We chose a room with 2 beds- they were full size and the room was very small.
We own an old house so we understand the challenges but this...
