The Barn Giulia (the Giulia's Granary) old farmhouse end 700, with vaulted ceilings, exposed, finely restored and 'an' elegant residence comfortable and welcoming a few km from the crystalline waters of Castro Marina, Santa Cesarea Terme, Otranto . It has a private swimming pool, 10 meters x 5.60, large garden and terrace, enjoying the view of the Salento countryside whilst being within 150 meters from the village of Diso. The house has 5 double rooms with private bath, a double living with vaulted ceilings, fireplace and dining area, a stylish loft bedroom 2 sofa beds. The kitchen, complete with oven, dishwasher, five fires, overlooking the garden and pool. The lawned garden and fruit trees such as citrus fruits, a huge fig, carob, and all kind of plants, surrounds the pool. A haven of relaxation where alternate angles for reading in the shade, lying in a hammock, comfortable corners for conversation, as well as furniture sunbeds for sunbathing and a barbecue. In the outer zone also there and 'a comfortable outdoor living area with dining table for 12 people and a sitting room with sofa and chairs garden. The house has all the comforts, air conditioning, barbecue, heating, fireplace for the winter, laundry room, comfortable outdoor shower surrounded by palm trees. Coming out of the house a few meters you arrive in one of the squares of the village where there is' the coffee shop. It is crystal clear waters of Castro marina about 3 km from Santa Cesarea Terme, renowned spa with SPA sea and 10 km from the beautiful Otranto with sand Caribbean beaches, 20 km.

This is a lovely villa for a family holiday. It’s beautifully decorated with a wonderful pool, gardens and lots of space to relax. We enjoyed strolling into Diso and going to the local shop, pizzeria, cafe and restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and it was a very peaceful place to be.

We loved our stay. The pool and gardens are stunning. The house is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you’ll need. Great location. Diso is a quaint village, closely located to Castro and lots a great beaches. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property, the photos don’t do it justice

Fantastic villa

A beautiful villa in a fantastic location. Rooms are lovely, pool amazing, outside area perfect. Two minutes walk into Diso and ten minutes to the coast. Highly recommend for a base in Salento.

Perfect place to enjoy group holidays

The house is absolutely beautiful, vaste, well organized, with intimacy for everyone (large rooms with bathrooms for each) and at the same time nice terrasse, garden and large swimming pool to be all together. Close to the coast and its beautiful coves, restaurants, boat tour, fantastic views...it's the perfect place to enjoy nice holidays with family and friends! We found life quite cheap compares to other similar places in the mediterranean coast.

Outstanding stay in Diso!

We loved our stay here so much!! There was so much room for everyone (ages 8-80) to play, sleep, and gather for meals on the gorgeous patio or swims in the pool. Giulia was an amazing communicator and helped us tremendously on her personal time when we experienced a medical emergency. I can’t thank her enough for sharing her home with us and treating us so well. We truly hope to be back to enjoy the lovely area, the beautiful and relaxing home, and the stunning seas nearby!

Villa in Diso

Great property for our party of 8. Villa was spacious and well appointed. Owners met us at the property on check in and gave us advice on places to visit. Pool was essential for hot summer days with humidity. Parking is street based. Diso is a small, quiet non tourist town. It was a great home base for a local meal or two and morning cappuccino and pastries. Location is near Castro Marina which was a fun location to visit and swim. We spent most time coastally by the water to cool down. Otranto was another lovely city with shopping and delicious food. If you come when it’s cooler in temperature, exploring inland cities is possible.

Magnifique maison

Tres belle surprise. Maison olus jolie que sur les photos. Néanmoins les chambres dans la maison principale sont un peu bruyantes et les extérieurs sont insuffisants pour plus de 10 personnes. Nous etions 6 et c'était parfait

We had a wonderful stay at Giulia’s home in Diso! From the moment we arrived, both Giulia and the home felt incredibly welcoming and accommodating for our two families. We especially appreciated having our own personal spaces—some of us in the main house and others in the pool house—which made the stay feel both communal and private.The outdoor patio was a perfect gathering spot, and the deep water pool was a highlight—we spent many relaxing hours swimming and soaking in the Salento sun. My only regret is that we only had two nights here; I easily could have stayed a full week.The location is fantastic—set in a quiet town with all the essentials like a grocery store and dinner options, yet central to the area’s beautiful beaches and attractions. The only minor downside was parking on the busy street; it would have been nice to have designated spots within the driveway or garage.Overall, we absolutely loved our time here and would gladly return. Thank you, Giulia, for opening your home to us and making our visit so memorable!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Giulia’s house in Diso. Traveling with two families, a total of eight people, we’ve been exploring Europe together for many years – from Germany to Spain, and Portugal France and Italy. Out of more than 20 beautiful houses we’ve stayed in, Giulia’s was by far the most outstanding.The house is decorated with so much love and taste that we felt as if dear friends had left their home for us. We especially appreciated the layout: the charming garden house with two bedrooms, each with its own small living room and bathroom, created plenty of space and privacy even for a larger group. The kitchen is compact but very well equipped with two large fridges and everything a cook could need – though sharper knives would have been nice.The pool is generous in size, and the rooftop terrace offers a stunning view at sunset. Diso itself was a pleasant surprise: a small town with a supermarket, fruit and vegetable shop, and two cafés – perfect for daily needs. The well equipped Famila supermarket is just 10’ away. Beyond that, Apulia amazed us with its beautiful little towns, wonderful beaches, and authentic charm.A special thanks goes to Giulia, who was always there when we needed advice or recommendations – warm and attentive, just like a good friend hosting us. We had an unforgettable time and will definitely be back.

Lovely Villa in a picturesque village

I booked this villa for my family. It worked really well as there are two self contained flats behind the pool which was perfect for each couple with young children. One on the ground floor, one on the first floor, each with its own bathroom. There are two main bedrooms and the mezzanine in the main house. The pool was very clean and refreshing for everyone as the weather is hot in the summer, it is deeper than it looks so great for actually swimming. The air conditioning worked. Diso has nice cafes which are easy to walk to. There are good quality supermarkets within a short drive, as is the beautiful coast. The house is stylish, the kitchen is small as shown in the pictures but there is a lovely large table for everyone outside. Giulia was a great host, easy to communicate with and I would absolutely recommend this stay.

Amazing, relaxing, spacious home!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Diso. Giulia was an amazing host from the beginning to end of the trip, helping us with transportation arrangements from the airport and giving us restaurant recommendations at our next stop. The home is huge, actually two separate buildings. We were a group of 5 and it was more than enough room for us. The yard and pool are fabulous, we swam almost everyday, and enjoyed most of our meals on the patio. The town is small and quaint, with a cafe/bar very close to the house. We drove to Castro multiple times, it is under 10 minutes away. It was a great base for many day trips. We can't thank Giulia enough for sharing her home with us.

Stupenda!!

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questa casa, molto pulita e ben arredata! Situata in un paesino tranquillo per chi vuole scappare dallo stress delle città. Anche per i bambini é adatta, i nostri si sono divertiti in piscina I proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. La consigliamo vivamente!

Perfektes Haus für einen Erholungsurlaub in Apulien.

Großes Haus fantastisch angelegter und gepflegter Garten, super Pool, im ganzen Objekt fehlt nichts, die Besitzerin sehr zuvorkommend. Bilder geben nur einen kleinen Ausschnitt dessen was man bekommt. Das Meer erreicht man in ca 5 min Im Ort gibt es Kleine Geschäfte, Café, Bäckerei, Tratoria, Pizzeria. Geeignet für eine Gruppe bis 8 Erwachsene. Der Weg nach Diso lohnt sich.

La casa di Giulia è veramente splendida! Ricca di preziosi angoli di relax nel rigoglioso giardino.

È stata davvero una bella vacanza, la casa è accogliente e con ampi spazi, dalla terrazza abbiamo goduto di fantastici tramonti sulla campagna salentina con i suoi tipici colori. Nel giardino a fianco della piscina abbiamo trovato angoli freschi e rilassanti oltre che a un bel portico per mangiare all’aperto. Giulia e Giuseppe sono molto gentili e disponibili. Consigliatissima!

Lovely family and friends holiday

Ideal accommodation for two families due to the separate annexe.. 4 very large double bedrooms, plus a mezzanine level with double bed. beautiful property, photos don’t do it justice. Fantastic pool. Great outdoor seating areas, plenty of space to relax. Local bar just a few mins walk away was lovely. Don’t miss this.

Splendida villa

La villa è davvero molto bella e comoda, arredata con gusto e ben curata sia negli interni che nel giardino con piscina. La posizione è ottima, perché Diso è un centro molto tranquillo e da lì è agevole raggiungere brevemente Castro Marina ed altre mete invidiabili della costa salentina. Giulia e Giuseppe, i proprietari, sono molto cordiali e disponibili. I loro consigli nella scelta dei ristoranti si sono rivelati sempre preziosi. In definitiva, abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno piacevolissimo che consiglio a tutti.

Heerlijke familie vakantie in italiaans paradijsje!

Heerlijk koel huis, voorzien van alle gemakken met een fantastische tuin met royaal zwembad en diverse zitjes om je siesta te doen, spelletjes te spelen en ook met de hele familie heerlijk te eten. Giulia is zeer gastvrij en bereid om je tips te geven en restaurants voor je te reserveren. Aanrader! Goede uitvalsbasis voor de zuidelijke kust en ook Lecce. En Diso zelf is een stil authentiek Italiaans dorpje, net groot genoeg om aan je basisbehoefte te voldoen.

Villa stupenda

La villa e' bellissima !! Molto ben curata, pulita, le camere sono ampie, piscina, giardino, il tutto curati in ogni particolare ed è' ottima per soggiorni di gruppi di amici e famiglie con figli. A 3km dalla spiaggia ed in un punto strategico per visitare le spiagge del Salento. Vicino supermarket e ristoranti. Proprietari molto cordiali e disponibili. Consiglio vivamente se volete organizzare una vacanza in Salento.
