"The only disappointing item was that the hot tub was not working. But we enjoyed every other detail about the property. We would definitely want to stay her again. The location was convenient but the house was so peaceful you don't need to leave. "

"Quality mattress, bedding, & pillows (with bedding options in the closet.) Decor that inspires relaxation & calm. Along a quaint historical street with multiple stores & small cafes and taverns. Enjoyed our stay & will visit again on future long distance trips for a peaceful “rest stop.” Couches in living room are only loveseat sized, not very cushy & less than ideal for larger or taller persons, but not uncomfortable enough to warrant a complaint or deduct from our stay."

"I loved staying at this cabin for my Elkin visit. It’s located about 17 minutes from downtown, and I was able to enjoy beautiful hikes each morning. It is so calm and serene, and I will definitely be back."

"This lovely place met all our expectations and then some. As the person who made the choice and booked it, I was happy to hear everyone saying "Great Pick!" Outside was beautiful, we felt secluded but town was only a few minutes away. Inside was total comfort. We actually spent more time sitting around catching up than we did taking advantage of the many games downstairs. We had one 12 year old in the pool (yikes!) and then the hot tub, perfect. My two little dogs also enjoyed poking...

"The property was very clean and very cute.We met the owners they were awesome. We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary and it was a perfect place beautiful view of Pilot Mtn. We will be back soon… Highly recommend sitting in the rockers on the porch and the beautiful view of Pilot Mtn. with a glass of wine or coffee in the morning.Donna & Murray"

"We ejoyed the retro feeling of this place, the old stove, old refrigerator which was still cold! Decor was very well thought out. Kudos!. My wife has trouble with steps, but took her time and did well. The bed was extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend for a long weekend."
