"We didn’t get the room we booked. The one we got (when we arrived) was much smaller and not nearly as nice. With a lot of effort (there’s no one on site, everything is handled through an “agent” - who sounds like they’re outside the U.S. - which then notifies the actual Three Trails Company to get in touch with you - it’s a long, tedious way to handle any issue which may arise). We were able to finally get an upgrade, but it still wasn’t as nice as the room we originally booked."

"We love our weekend stay in the dollhouse for a wedding event. It was clean, cozy and we were able to bring our Maltese.The owner helped us with a few restaurants and left us a welcome bottle of wine.We highly recommend this VRBO in the quaint little town of Elkin, NC."

"Had a great time! My only concern was checking in and our code was incorrect. There was a nice man there that took care of us, but I wasn't sure at the beginning if he really worked there. I wonder if name tags for employees would be a good thing. That said, the entire staff was very professional and courteous."

"Overall, the property was quite nice! We wished the hot water lasted a bit longer and that the curtains kept the rooms a bit darker but overall, it was nice. If you’re looking for a good spot to set up while you tour wineries in the area, this is a great choice!"

"We 3 senior ladies rented this house for our “ girls winery trip” . I was in charge of finding a place and sorry to say I was negligent in getting all the details. The home was beautifully decorated and the listing was 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a/c and hot tub. We were totally surprised that two bedrooms were up a large flight of stairs on the second level, which was not listed in words or pictures on the site at the time of our booking. My friends know that I use oxygen at night and could not make...
