Bradley Cottage in the heart of "Mayberry"

Our Cottage Has Been Serving Guests since July 24, 2017 - Step back to a slower time when people sat on the front porch sipping lemonade & watching lightning bugs... where both conversations and life were slower. At The Bradley Cottage, our hope is that your stay will allow you to remove yourself from the busyness of normal life, to relax and breathe in the southern air while sitting in the rockers on the front porch. Welcome!

The Cottage was completely updated in 2017 and provides a feeling of nostalgia. There is adequate space to stretch out and enjoy your time away. Both bedrooms have comfortable plush mattresses as well as Roku devices to allow you to stream from Netflix, Hulu, etc.. The living room has a smart tv so if you have a Hulu or Netflix account you can use that OR play dvds

The Cottage is located just 4 houses down from Wally's Service Station, a popular attraction for Andy Griffith fans that boasts a gift shop, Mayberry Squad Car Tours, and a replica of the Mayberry Courthouse. Downtown is just 4 blocks away where guests will find popular attractions: Snappy Lunch, souvenir/gift shops, ice cream shops, Andy Griffith Museum and more! All of these attractions are within walking distance. Historic Downtown Mount Airy is one of the friendliest and safest towns in North Carolina.

Our Property Manager Autumn lives onsite in the apartment behind the cottage. Please do not be alarmed if you see her coming or going. She can generally answer any questions that you may have while visiting.

The cottage is absolutely adorable! Perfect for our little Mount Airy/ Mayberry getaway! The cottage is just around the corner from Wally's Station & the Squad car tours. The town is a short distance away. We walked to downtown easily. (ages 62). The cottage has so much character and charm. The home is fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable. The living room was also comfy & cozy. The front porch is a bonus. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will be back! We definitely recommend Bradley cottage! Thank you!

Can't say enough about this awesome property. It was super clean, cozy, comfortable and so cute. The owner was very gracious and the manager was very sweet. It was a short and pleasant walk to Mayberry attractions. We went to Pilot Mountain and it was breathtaking. The Tommy Jarrell festival was really great. The perfect location for the perfect little cottage.

Great location for walking around Mt Airy and the host was very accommodating. The house had all we needed and our visit went well. I would suggest replacing the rug in living room and the boards on front porch were a little loose. Our overall visit was good and would recommend this house to others visiting “Mayberry”.

The host Kelly and her husband did so much to make my surprise trip for my wife for Valentine’s so special. She went above and beyond to make sure everything on my list was there when we arrived. It was a great trip all the way around. Everywhere we went and ate the food was awesome and it was cool to see all the history in the town. This was our 36th Valentine together and she posted on Facebook it was her best one ever with pictures. We definitely. Will plan another trip.

We had a wonderful stay. I would have given the cottage 5 stars if there would have been better access to local tv channels, especially with the winter storm coming in overnight. We don’t have any personal streaming platforms so we were out of luck in that regard. However, the amenities and sleeping arrangements were more than pleasant and we were extremely pleased with the host being so agreeable to move the usual checkout time due to the snow! We hope to return again to The Bradford Cottage when we come back for another visit!!

My daughter and I have stayed at this sweet little house for maybe 6-7 years running. For a mommy away birthday trip. It’s usually just one night. But now my daughter is a mom, we expanded to two. Everything feels so personal and layed back. Like going to grandmas. Love it!

The house was cozy and comfortable. Very “homey.” It was close to downtown and all the cool shops and historic places we wanted to visit. We are big Andy Griffith fans, even my 16 year old grandchild enjoys the TV show, and it was fun to visit the town of “Mayberry.”

My husband and I along with our friend stayed 2 nights in Mt. Airy. We choose your home for the location. We loved how close we were to everything. We have been to Mayberry several times. We spent 5 nights is Savannah and decided to stop a 2 of nights to relax. We loved the house. We found the home very cozy. We had to eat at Barney's Cafe for breakfast and had dinner both nights at Boo's Kitchen. We sat around and watched Andy Griffith. Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us.
