"This was an interesting new type of hotel stay for us. My mother grew up in Altona in the 50s after the war. I hadn’t been to Hamburg in about 20 years so we decided to visit pre-Christmas for the markets (way too crowded and difficult public transportation during it). The room was well equipped with a refrigerator, induction cooktop, convection oven, deep well sink as well as cookware and utensils. It was relatively quiet and situated. Typical German hard mattress and too many smokers...
