"The cottage is very cute. The layout was very good and there was enough room for all six of us. The view was incredible and we never got tired of watching the lake through the large windows! The sauna was comfortable and the teenagers loved heating it and then swimming in the lake. The bonus point was that there was a cafe by the water and some restaurants at the hotel - all at the short walking distance. The place surpassed all my expectations."

"We had a wonderful stay here during a Finnish heatwave. It's a beautiful residence which was the home of a famous Finnish author, and is quite charming in its authenticity and spacious nature. It's also perfectly positioned next to Lake Saimaa with a small beach area and a larger dock that can be used for fishing or deeper swimming. "We stayed 3 nights and absolutely enjoyed every second! It was a beautiful scenery and perfect weather:) You can enjoy a swim in the sea after using the sauna. And the host is soo lovely!!!! Absolut recommandation."

"This is a lovely home in a stunning location, with sweeping views of a very nice lake. The villa is very well designed and was very clean. The sauna is large and very nicel--since it is connected to the bathroom, its residual heat makes the room nice and warm. The supplies are all first rate--lots of Ikea, although not overy generous.
