"We stayed in Suite Luna at Wantara. The pics were very accurate, the suite was exceptionally clean, the outdoor areas were a quiet oasis in the city, and the gated entrance felt very secure. We enjoyed the bakery at the top of the street and the dining suggestions from Marcelo. It was only a short walk 10 mins walk to old town or a $2.00 cab ride. Cheers, David & JoAnne"

"I wish our stay could have been longer! The suite is very big and comfortable. While retaining architectural features of the 200-year old building, it has all modern comforts. The kitchen is fully stocked for guests to make their own breakfast. Staff speak excellent English. Really really nice! "

"The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour. It was farther into town than walking distance and only one restaurant nearby so I would suggest getting the meal option or shopping in town for food. "We loved our stay at the treehouse! Such a neat place. Literally has trees growing through it. Slightly challenging to find, but Filipe was so wonderful with getting us there and really gave us so much extra help! What a kind and super helpful host. Only challenge we found is that the beds in the loft were up a ladder (not stairs) and anyone with physical challenges would not be able to do this. The bathroom and shower are very small. "Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!"
