"Fantastic location which is quite and peaceful location with wonderful mature trees. The service provided by Achini at the front office is well and beyond what was expected. She is a true asset to this hotel. If you want to see the elephants, this is a wonderful base for your safari."

"Très bon accueil, chambre Deluxe au premier étage proche du lac et du restaurant. Tout est très propre et en très bon état. La piscine est grande et bien équipée. Le personnel est très sympatique, souriant et répond rapidement aux demandes. Le buffet du diner et du petit dejeuner est excelent et tres varié. Je conseille vivement cet hôtel."

"Unser Aufenthalt im Gabaa Resort & Spa war rundum erholsam. Schon bei der Ankunft (sehr spät abends) fühlten wir uns dank der entspannten Atmosphäre und der warmen Begrüßung sofort willkommen. Unser Cabana-Zimmer war geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr privat – perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Personal war immer freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. "Good and clean family room and friendly staff. Arranged a tuktuk tour for us to discover Anuradhapura. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool as well. We only stayed one night but was an excellent place for our stop in Anuradhapura."

"Stayed here on both ends of a Wilpattu National Park adventure. They hooked me up with an amazing guide and driver as well as transport back and forth to the park and also onward to Kandy. The pool was awesome and there were many birds behind the property. The manager was a very kind man and the staff was great. Room service was delicious as well."

"Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely."

"The AC in our first room wasn't functioning properly. We were moved to another room and that was great. The staff were all fantastic, the pool was beautiful in a great location which felt like you were in the jungle. Breakfast was excellent. Other meals all very good and tasty. "

"Nirosh is an excellent host. Very kind person who arranged us dinner after our king train journey from Colombo to Anuradhapura. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Anuradhapura. Such a beautiful place near to big beautiful lake. "
