"Waldhaus on Adelsö – Nature, Vikings, and Two Wonderful Hosts The vacation home is located in the woods, just a short walk from the lake—the pine forest begins right behind the house. The furnishings are modern and of consistently high quality, and the large, open windows truly bring nature into the house. In the morning, you wake up to a view of the greenery; in the evening, you sit there and simply gaze out. Melissa and Gustaf are wonderful hosts: very friendly, always ready to help with any...

"In general: Check in info missing, no info at site, cumbersome and then rude services on call. Check out OK. Room construction nice, however worn out and dirty. Smell was terrible. "The house was located on the outskirts of Stockholm with rural feel although just a 30 minute drive from central Stockholm. The area was charming and quiet with horses and sheep in the surroundings and access to hiking trails and coastline. The house was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need and we appreciated the spices, oil and flour that came with the house. Also appreciated the washer and dryer as well as the beautiful hotel style...
