"As expected ..."

"Double charged when I had already prepaid through Expedia. I was refunded and then charged another amount. Expedia advised it was an error and that the hotel refunded me. Over a month later and still no refund. Hotel unresponsive, I tried calling and emailing. Very poor amenities. Makes me wonder how this motel was rates so high through Expedia. Automatic check in, no staff at all. Rooms are not very good at all. Would never recommend."

"1) There was hair on one of the bed sheets. 2) Breakfast options were mediocre at best, especially if one is vegan or vegetarian. 3) No elevators at all and therefore if you have small kids or senior citizens, it may be a challenge. 4) One of the doors leading to the parking lot was not locked and secure. This is a huge safety issue."

"The room looks okay but everything was broken or in disrepair. The freezer door was broken was off, the sink was plugged, the closet door handle fell off, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the shower didn't spray properly and there was barely any hot water. When we went to leave in the morning we got locked in. After much work we were able to get out of the room. The only good thing was the bed."

"Room had wonderful view of the river! Nicely renovated and friendly staff. Wish room had a mini fridge though. There did not appear to be an AC. A fan would also be a good idea."

"Schönes Haus. Idealer Standort, um die Region von Cacouna / Rivière-du-Loup zu erkunden. In den Schlafzimmern lassen sich die Fenster nicht vollständig verdunkeln. Die Zimmer im 1. Stock liegen hintereinander (eines der Zimmer wurde oben auf der Galerie bei der Treppe eingerichtet). Das Wohnzimmer ist nicht gut beleuchtet (nur zwei kleine Leselampen vorhanden). Schöne Aussicht auf den See vom Esszimmer und von der Terrasse aus."

"We arrived early evening and could not get in reception. I eventually got hold of the manager via landline. He told me the property had not been taking guests for nearly 2 years How could Hotels.com still be taking bookings for this place and even sending me reminders up to the date we arrived "
