"Lovely accommodating host, cottage spotlessly clean, well stocked, with a very comfortable bed! We loved the seclusion and the river was a big bonus. Just note it is 7 kms from the main road on a dirt road, but easily manageable. Highly recommend! (:"

"A very modern take on the country farmhouse. Clean with a nice kitchen, outdoor braai (bbq) area with food prep area and sink, air conditioning, wifi, satellite tv and plenty of hot water. The dirt road to get there is a bit long and somewhat precarious, but you get much-needed solitude among the hills and songbirds."

"We merely just for one night. Upon arrival, hotel did not have our booking information as Hotel.com did not inform hotel about our reservation. Very poorly from Hotel.com Had to show my invoice for reception that Accomodation was paid directly to Hotel.com We got the Queens Residence and it was quite spacious and big, both rooms with own en-suite. Only problem and my biggest issue was the beds. Extremely hard and uncomfortable. Not Queen or King bed. Only 2 single beds per room. From all my...

"This property offered so much more than what was listed online. The house is spacious and comfortable. The host could not have done more for us. Great hospitality. Sitting on the porch, bird watching and listening to them sing was very peaceful and relaxing. The cherry on the top was when Dirk took us into the breading chamber and showed us the little ostriches hatching on the working farm. No commercial ostrich farm offers that amazing experience. "Great place and a Lovely room!! But the check in felt a little weird/very rushed. The manager showed us the apartment and explained everything in like 1 minute. It was alot to take in and remember and he talked very fast so I had to ask again several times... It felt like he was in a hurry and that in turn made us feel unwelcome. Very weird customer service. But the place was lovely in a great quiet place with gorgeous surroundings."

"Es un lugar mágico. 62.000 hectáreas de tierras salvajes pero perfectamente cuidadas por un equipo de 180 profesionales desde guardas, seguridad, veterinarios, gerencia, camareros, chefs, servicio de limpieza que son realmente adorables en todo la amplitud del término, además de excepcionales profesionales. Las instalaciones son impecables teniendo en cuenta que están en medio de la naturaleza pero a tiro de piedra de Cape Town (2 horas y media de viaje en coche). Los guías son unos apasionados de la naturaleza fauna y flora y se lo saben todo. Hay lugares más salvajes quizás más lujosos pero no tan cerca de una gran ciudad y desde luego con un equipo tan extraordinario como el de Sambona. "
