"Everything was great except the cooling/heating system switched when it got cooler and the heat came on automatically which wasn't great overnight when you wanted it cooler."

"Breakfast was good, rooms clean staff helpful"

"Amazing staff, by far the best hotel we stayed at between Austria and Europe. Solid breakfast with lots of options. Staff that was willing and eager to help you find your way around Salzburg and the transportation. Great location next to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Safe area. Hotel was very pretty! Definitely recommend this hotel."

"The hotel is under renovation at the time of stay, room is very spacious, walking distance to Mirabel garden (just across the street). Lots of stores outside. basically close to the church and a market."

"Excellent and friendly service at the front desk upon arriving. Extremely well appointed room (loved the motion nightlights by the bathroom) and very comfortable bed. Wish I had known more about the history of the StieglBräu location and restaurant from 1912!"

Beware that there seems to be a room that wraps around the lift too - that must be a bit noisy. Our Palais Suite on first floor...

My main disappointment was the limited opening hours of the spa and gym, which close at 20:00. For me, one of the greatest benefits of staying at a hotel with a spa is being able to return after a day of sightseeing, have dinner, and then relax in the spa before bed. It is a wonderful way to unwind and prepare for a restful...

"Hotel Sacher is an absolutely excellent hotel. Honestly I felt like royalty, or at least a rich person LOL!"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were a good size. Location was excellent for sightseeing. Rooms need some updating, wallpaper peeling."

"Wir sind mehrmals im Jahr in Salzburg und immer im Hotel Cool Mama. Es passt einfach alles. Vom Service, Zimmer, Essen, Cocktails, Nähe zur Altstadt, gratis Ticket für die Öffis."
