"We had an amazing week at the Guest House! The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Air conditioning, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, big kitchen - everything was great and thoughtfully laid out. Janis and Martin are excellent hosts and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Their dock was well equipped as well with comfortable chairs, tables, umbrellas, etc. Swimming off the dock in crystal clear water was a highlight. Use of the canoe to paddle over to Fossli...

"The Clearwater cabin was everything we needed after getting 200 mm of rain and camping. It was a beautiful small cabin that was heated with a nice hot tub and bbq to top everything off. Communication was clear and proactive and I’d highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing a break from the weather!"

There were even a few containers for leftovers.There was a limited pantry, including olive oil, salt, pepper – the sort of stuff that's essential for cooking, but hard to buy in small enough quantities for a short stay. "Calm water Retreat was a beautiful, quiet, perfectly-maintained home base for our family as we explored the Ucluelet and Tofino area. The property was right off the main road and within walking distance to the center “hub” of Ucluelet; but the the cluster of homes was so cleverly situated facing a small bog inlet and trail that it felt like we were in the middle of the forest.
