Communication was good with the host and property manager. Some upgrades would be nice regarding mattresses( did not seem to be queen size- more like double )linens and outdoor activities. "This is our second time we have stayed at South Swell and we have loved it both times. Kelly and Bob are excellent hosts and are very good communicators. We forgot a bike lock and they left one on the porch for us when we arrived. The property is perfect for a family with teenagers and a dog. We will book again for sure!"

"Very comfortable cottage within 7 minute walk to the Chesterman Beach. Super clean! Fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Crisp clean linens and towels. Very comfortable beds. Gracious host. Everything that you need for a fantastic stay in Tofino."

"Our stay was very comfortable and effortless. The town of Ucluelet suited us. Everyone was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed exploring the shops and cafes there. The walks were fabulous and we especially liked the lighthouse loop. The best part was coming back to our comfortable accommodation and having our own outdoor spa. We like self-catering and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our hosts, Marilyn and Lance, were great and readily available if needed."

"Pros: Great location, basic kitchen (with an induction hot plate) that worked well for cooking our meals. the bed is comfortable and linens were good quality. Locally sourced coffee and cleaning/personal care items (I bought both to take home). Cons(or suggestions) There are 26 steps, with no railing, to reach the lower suite. Just be aware if you have any mobility issues. There was no towel rack in the bathroom (it looked like there had been one that broke off but just hadn't been replaced...

"Our host Bryan was an excellent communicator and replied quickly to all our questions, which was much appreciated! The location is beautiful, our favourite place in BC - beautiful beach and gorgeous trails right outside our door. Our hot tub was very much enjoyed in the stormy weather, and it was an extra treat to see the two eagles sitting beside their nest right above us. "
