"The rooms were really good - I love the design. The church bells can be a little loud if you like to sleep with open windows. I didn’t mind it; after an active day in the mountains, I sleep like a rock. The breakfast was so so; we must be spoiled from other hotels before. Location is perfect to start your day trips and the staff was happy to help with that as well. We were able to walk to a little spot just 5min away to take a swim in the lake as well - very convenient."

"Nice Rigi view with a large room and large balcony. Cows and horses from the nearby farms provided a special experience for the stay. Good for those driving cars. For travellers not renting any cars, the location was quite far away from major Luzern tourist spots and thus inconvenient. Needed to transfer to local bus(es) if you were taking trains. For the room amenities, modern, pretty but impractical."

"Wir durften 1 Woche in der Ferienwohnung verbringen. Diese war wie beschrieben sehr gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Das Einzige was etwas gemütlicher hätte sein können, war die Sitzecke auf der Terrasse. Vielleicht würde es reichen, die Sitzecke mal mit teilweise neuen Stühlen zu bestücken und den Tisch zu streichen bzw. den Gasgrill abzudecken, damit er nicht so einstaubt,. Das größte Highlight war für uns der 200m entfernte Seezugang, den wir mit nutzen durften. Danke nochmals dafür....

"The location was great, right on the lake, which we jumped in frequently to cool off. It was unbearably hot, the 4 provided fans brought some, but inefficient cooling. The attic / TV room was unusable secondary to the extreme heat. It was difficult, if not impossible to sleep. Thankfully our musclar son could bring the luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Parking accommodations were acceptable. Transportation to Lucerne and other destinations was easy with good bus and train service. Beautiful views...

"Nous avons réservé un cottage au Bürgenstock pour 9 200 CHF/3 nuits. À l’arrivée, nous avons découvert qu’il n’y avait pas de climatisation, alors qu’il faisait 35°C. Impossible d’y séjourner correctement. L’hôtel étant complet, on nous a proposé une chambre au Waldhotel, moins bien, avec vue montagne, mais avec un supplément de 3 720 CHF par nuit : totalement inacceptable. Le petit-déjeuner était très décevant : choix très limité, plateaux de jambon, poisson et fromage souvent vides, non...
