"The initial staff was great when we checked in. The staff was non-existent whwn we checked out so I just left the room keys on the counter. As for the room, it was very clean and nice. The one complaint I have is the AC unit. Its an older push button unit that should be updated. I turned it all the way to cold to cool the room down. It then shuts off completely so I need to go push the fan only button. Then in the middle of the night, it warms up again so I hit the AC button until it cools down...

"I thought that this would be a unique glamping experience. However, we were greeted by no one, found our camper amount a small group of other campers and tents. Very open area with little privacy. In the camper there few amenities with No coffee maker, fan, mini fridge or really any amenity to create a glamping experience. They should call it what it is… A clean camper in a very quiet campground near a beautiful lake. We did not see or meet any staff. I was impressed by the...

"House was beautiful and the upstairs room was very spacious and comfortable. Host was friendly and helpful. We were only there for an overnight get away. We loved our stay and had a quiet, relaxing time. Thanks for everything!"

"As we were staying with our dog we were very pleased with the location. It was a very quiet wooded area which we loved but yet only 5 minutes to town. We had a wonderful dinner at the lodge. As an added bonus was Dollar Lake, which is not the lake you see next to the lodge. It was a short jaunt across from the main lodge where we enjoyed walking our dog. It is private and only available to those staying at Chanticleer Inn. The beach was sandy and the water was clear. A neat little gem. We would...

"Didn’t realize I was staying in the basement of a home where the Host family was so inconsiderate to the amount of noise that they were creating by stomping around for 3 plus hour on my first. Asked that they be more considerate and they stopped stomping around for about 20 minutes and the it continue until 11:30pm. The smells of the basement area were a little over whelming when I checked in and I was able to open a window. Sorry I’d couldn’t take the lack of consideration from the host...
