"The room had ants on the toilet, counters, and on the bedding, but after trying to check in and the previous occupants dirty towels and linens were pilled at the door, I didn’t bother the girl at the front desk again. Not many options in such a small town, I’m sure they are doing the best they can. We only stayed 1 night."

"My family and I stayed for the weekend, The cabin was perfect, clean, comfy beds. They also had a fire pit, grill, and swing to enjoy. Deer that walked the property, especially at dusk. Pool was great, cheap firewood to purchase. There was a local boat rental down the was. $185 for 4 hour on the lake. One Thing Ranch in town where you can tour, pet, and feed Alpacas and Llamas for $25. Local markets and good Bbq in town. Perfect little spot to get away."

"The Little House is in the absolute perfect locations, just minutes from the Avenue of the Giants and not far from the coast! The drive up to the Little House would have been easier if we had 4 wheel drive or a truck but it was not bad compact SUV we rented. I adore the decor and set-up of the Little House. We saw families of deer right outside our windows at night. The full kitchen allowed us to buy groceries in town and eat at the house, but we also had a meal from Nacho Mama and loved it! I...

"The property was described as “on the Trinity River “. It is not. About a 10-15 minute walk on a trail to the river. No view of the river either"

"Here’s a friendlier version with minimal changes while still clearly describing the issue: When we arrived at Mary’s place, the house number was obscured by a shirtless, visibly unwell person pushing a trash cart in front, which wasn’t a great first impression. We pulled around, and I entered the last four digits of my telephone number into the keypad, which appeared to have been damaged or dug into with some sort of sharp metal object, only to discover that either the number had never been put...

"Great location, clean, nicely stocked, and decor was attractive. Twin bedroom is in laundry room. A/C wall unit is located in master bedroom so limited cool air reaches the twin bedroom or living room. Bathroom shower is European Style- no separate shower pan-whole bathroom floor gets wet. No outdoor view from living spaces, and small sitting area outfront. Great proximity to trails, swimming and fishing holes, and Main Street downtown."
