"I researched resorts in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio and none of them could come close to provide all the high end facilities with over 50 activities to choose from at Rough Creek Lodge. (Not even Grapevines' Galord Resort or Great Wolf Lodge that we have stayed.) I have never visited a resort or hotel that had such high class employees that would go out of their way to make your visit the most memorable you could ever have. "I loved this little spot! It was exactly what I needed. Clean, quiet, private. The bathtub is absolutely GLORIOUS, and correspondence with Cindie was a delight! I needed a later than usual checkout and she was so gracious and flexible. I would recommend and will stay again!"
