"Be advised, there is no coffee makers in the room anymore (which is advertised on the website). They took them out and have 24 hour coffee in the lobby. Room was ok, bed was comfortable. I was told breakfast was at 6am, so I planned my departure around that (I had a long drive yet, and planned to leave immediatly after a quick bite to eat). After waiting until 6:15 (with numerous other people in the dining room waiting) I went to desk and asked, and was told it was at 7am (was a Saturday) today....

"The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down, the rod in the shower was broken, there was holes in the carpet, and on the table legs there was dried food. This room could use some help."

"I like the staff but if they could just clean the rooms better. There is no excuse for hand prints on a bathroom door. Dirty rag left in the bathroom."

"I am covered head to toe in bed bug bites from my stay."

"The owner quickly resolved a communication error to our satisfaction. Nice clean property"

"We enjoyed our stay. The property is in a nice location. It met our needs. The only problem we had was getting the code to get into the house. I feel sure it was just a mishap and I would rent it again."

"This is a very nice place to stay. Easy to find and close to everything we needed."

"Such a peaceful place and very hospitable hosts. We'll be back!"

"We were in Town for a wedding"

"We absolutely loved the Duncan House! It was clean, spacious, well stocked, comfy.....I could go on & on. Neil was awesome...we had a couple questions when we first got there & he responded right away. We will definitely be back!"

"This is a beautiful place! The owners did a great job restoring the building, it’s super nice! We would definitely stay again if we are in the area."

"Clean Close and Comfortable. What more could we ask for? The cottage was bright and very clean. We had a family reunion in Portland, and its less than an hour to the Corvette Museum!! My father could come and rest when he needed to. The en suite was perfect, giving my parents the privacy they needed away from our teenage grandsons when they wanted/needed the space! The kitchen was well suited and stocked with all utensils we needed. We hope to return, it was a lovely stay!"
