"I booked the room for my husband & son who were going to the zoo Tues. morning. The car broke down, stranding them on the road. I contacted the hotel to see if we could get our fee waived due to circumstance (can provide proof of breakdown). They said only Expedia could waive fee. Expedia said it was up to hotel & they spoke to hotel & said I'd get an email. So far, the only email from Hampton is this. "How was your stay?" "The barn is on a farm. If you love seeing chickens, roosters, ducks, dogs, cats, and horses, then this is the place for you. The hosts are very nice and they respond quickly to any concerns. Everything you need is 15-30 minutes away. "
