"We didn’t end up staying there!! We pulled in and the place looked abandoned! Nobody was even on the property that worked there or owned it!!!! We called a number and they had no record of us having a reservation, finally some young woman showed up to help us. The room they wanted to give us was unlocked already, the bed looked like someone had slept on the bed, it smelled and was filthy! We walked out and told the girl we wouldn’t stay there and we did find another motel to stay at. This...

"We enjoyed the house and location. Perfect for enjoying kayaking on the lake, fishing (didn't catch anything), listening to the birds, sunsets, stars, s'mores on the fire, and just relaxing. Please look at prior reviews...I brought our own bath towels (I'm a towel snob), paper towels, etc. Be aware of the very tight staircase to get downstairs. We will be back! We even lucked out that there was a special market downtown on the riverfront Saturday morning..instead of the farmers market."

"Hotel muy abandonado. Las toallas no estaban limpias. Ningin dia nos hicieron la habitacion. El olor del hotel es insoportable. "

"It was comfortable with a window A/C unit for the summer. Some areas were not clean. Some areas/ items need to be repaired or replaced."

"We chose this place for its convenient location to Spoon RIver Festival towns. It worked out perfectly for us. The place is just right for 2 people!"

"Erin was a great host. Stayed over a month, no issues. Very clean. Would recommend."

"Very nice property with easy access and good communications. Two TV with easy access to connect our Roku. Well equipped. The only mild negative is that it had a single love seat and two metal chairs for seating. Got a little cozy. The host was excellent."
