"The Lady that checked me in wasn’t very polite, not sure why but most of the other Staff was nice, I did ask about a coffee pot and one young man told me about the Keurig that I could ask for and that’s one of the reasons the lady was not very nice when I asked for it she act like there was something wrong with that. I only used one of the K. pods.!! and at the end of stay look at told me to have a good day and then I told him that the Keurig was still up there in the room. He didn’t even look...

"Que no tienen cafe"

"I love it…"

"The manager was very helpful. I thought that he couldn’t find my second room reservation, but it turned out that when Expedia asked me for the person name for the second room, they actually put that person‘s name on the reservation, even though I was making the reservation and paying for both rooms. So a note – if you’re reserving more than 1 room for traveling companions or family members, put your name on all of the rooms."

"We’re very disappointed that the observatory was not open. And the Beach was in unusable do to over growth weeds and grass in the sand! Cats were very nice and had some great time by the fire pit and on the boat!"

"Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back."

"Wonderful stay! This home is beautiful. Our hosts Sandy and Jim were gracious and it was a pleasure to be with them for the evening. Highly recommended!"

"Great place. Great location."

"The house is beautiful. A very comfortable stay. It was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The host is very gracious. She was quick to respond to any request and reached out to us when we left something behind. We were able to retrieve it before leaving town. It was a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended."
