I only wish I had known that it is near train tracks where the train ran by every few hours even throughout the night. I am a light sleeper, so I was woke up several times during the nights by the train. Overall, though, this place was great!"

"William's house was spotless and had everything 3 adults needed for a 4 night stay. The kitchen was especially well stocked with equipment and staples, allowing us to cook at home instead of eating out all the time. Every morning, we enjoyed eating on the swing overlooking the river. The flowers in bloom were also lovely and the garden was private and quiet. All switches were accurately labled and the house was in a perfect location for us, in our geneological quests! William even helped us...

"This was our first VBRO experience in the Oak Hill area. We don't have any more family to stay with. We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness, ease of access, kitchen amenities, ease of temperature control, and general overall experience. The coffee bar was very nice. All the add ins were a nice touch and unexpected. The only negative was the slippery floor in the bathtub. Even after warning my husband, he slipped and went down on one knee. The seat helped a lot. "Host was very accommodating. Brought rocking chairs for the porch so my mom and aunt could sit outside. He was very friendly. Not sure if it was an oversight on my part but I thought the additional event building was included. When I inquired about it, I was told it wasn’t available due to an upcoming event. It worked out fine but I think the listing was a bit deceptive. The hot tub looked a bit cloudy the first night. We did not alert the host but I’m sure if we had he would have worked to...
