"A huge facility and lush green grounds, very surprised by the size of the hotel, casino and parking areas. Room was nice, nothing special, but clean and fairly inexpensive. One quibble: Wish they did not allow smoking in the casino at all. As former smokers, it's hard to not feel trapped by the smoke even though there is a designated area for smoking. The ventiliation didn't do that great of a job eliminating the smoke. Michelle at front desk was amazing and very personable."

"Feces smeared on toilet handle and lid, black mold around bath tub, boogers on walls, dirty carpet, musty order in room, ceiling cracking. Advertised having a pool, pool has been permanently closed for weeks, elevator was also broken. Saw staff member drinking from water pitcher used to fill breakfast machines. Lastly, credit card was double charged."

"This place should be shut down, and defines the standard of ‘bad’. None of the amenities advertised are actually operational. Pool is closed permanently. Washer/Dryers broken, carpets dirty, water drains clogged or slow to drain, and property is infested with ants. Obviously this property is not being maintained. Our room didn’t have toilet paper, soap, or shampoo. The worst part, the live-in front desk agent you have to call to check in, is the first tell. While at the continental breakfast not...

"This is a beautiful home. Enjoyed our days on the porch & the wineries that were close. The lake made a beautiful backdrop for some family pictures. "

"This was the perfect place to get away, relax on the porch overlooking a special spot in the creek, and play in the water. We watched movies on VHS, listened to cds, and cooked our meals. We had everything we needed, felt safe and welcomed, and left recharged. Definitely returning!"

"Very nice stay. We were there during a heat wave but stayed cool inside the cabin. Very quiet and remote. Would like to return when it's cooler to take advantage of outdoor activities!"

"The house was very clean, and full of thoughtful touches such as decorating for fall and stacked wood for the firepit (we stayed in November). The patio and yard are great for relaxing with views of the surrounding fields. Perfect place to watch the sunrise and enjoy the deer. Our host was very responsive."

"Cardinal house was clean, peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of wood for the woodburning fireplace and there were only 4 old ladies but we enjoyed sitting in our rocking chairs, sipping coffee and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. This would be a great place for families to enjoy a family "campout" without having to worry with tents and dragging the camping gear.. the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cooking pots and pans. It is a good ways from town so bring everything with you....

"We loved the country setting and the sounds of nature! Very nice home with all the amenities you need. Furniture was fresh and in great and comfortable condition parking and access was as easy as could be and the location was close to everything you need! Would love to stay there again!"
