"The rooms and hallway had a bad smell. The pool and jacuzzi were closed for renovations and this was not evident until after you had paid the non refundable room price. Breakfast was free but not very tasty."

"The bathroom ceiling paint was cracked and peeling. The refrigerator worked very well and clean. Only one elevator was in service during my stay.
I feel the Expedia reservation needs to do a better effort in clarifying which Hawthorn Extended Stay hotel is being reserved. There is an older property in Saint Clairsville, Ohio and a newer property in Triadelphia, WV. Saint Clairsville Ohio is 18 miles from the newer West Virginia hotel. Please be clear on future reservations. This location...
