"We have stayed at this hotel many times as we have family in Lawrence. The hotel is fairly new having opened up about 8 years ago. It is clean and the staff are great! My one complaint is the shower. 1. It has a rainfall shower head without much water pressure which makes it so hard to rinse soap off. I have never understood the appeal of this type of shower head. It is also difficult to adjust without a step stool. 2. The glass wall for the shower is not wide enough to prevent water from...

"I was somewhat disappointed in the room but the 4 things that were the most important to me were there. A large,comfortable bed,...a decent sized TV (although there were no specialty channels)... air conditioning and a refrigerator and microwave. My refrigerator was set on 2 and everything froze including the Pepsi I bought out of the machine which exploded and scared the crap out of me in the middle of the night. The people who cleaned the rooms were very friendly and tried to be helpful but...

"Nice location near Mass Street, and the staff was very kind and helpful! But the property is simultaneously nice and also not….nice furniture and bedding, but some of our pillows didn’t have cases. Clean room, but the fridge still had old food in it from a previous guest. The lobby AC was being repaired (and staff apologized for this & gave out water), but there were many water stained ceiling tiles."

"Room nice size and clean. As a female traveling alone I didn’t like the adjoining room door but would appreciate it if traveling with family. Pool was permanently closed. Breakfast disappointing. Coffee, cereal, and prepackaged muffins. Juice would have been nice. Staff very friendly. While loading up my car to leave my key wouldn’t let me back in my room. Instead of resetting my key they watched me load up and unlocked my room each time I needed in and they also had to unlock the laundry room...

"The property was clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very courteous. There was a lot of construction behind the property, and some construction noise early in the morning. The bathroom door was a sliding door that had a big gap & did not provide privacy. The door was also scarred at the bottom & needed repair & paint. An area on the bathroom wall had been repaired, but not painted. "
