"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, Staff says they don’t take online reservations, even though it was paid for, had to ask for a refund and during that process staff was shouting to the Expedia employee, felt unsafe during this incident, had to pay for a different hotel in the next town."

"The charm of this historic cottage cannot be denied, and the commitment to preservation is commendable. Melissa was responsive as a host. "Great place to stay with pets (including horses!). Beer, wine, coffee, snacks, and continental breakfast were a bonus and a big help since restaurants are about 10 miles away. Location was perfect for going to Darling Raceway."

"The south at it’s very best. Beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. I only wish that we’d had longer to stay. David was very friendly and accommodating. I can’t recommend this beautiful home strongly enough. Stay here……you’ll love it."

"Quick weekend getaway turned out fine, solid facilities made settling down simple here despite being busy nearby over summer season!"

"Little weekend getaway one hour from home for MX training. Beautiful pond with lots of fish and sassy beavers. Son and husband fished as much as time would allow. Pet-friendly is a plus for us. We plan on returning in the future."

"Such a beautiful home and perfect for our family of 10 for a weekend visit to Cheraw. We enjoyed reading the stories of the family history of the home and loved cooking breakfast in the well appointed kitchen. The home is more beautiful than the pictures show. Very well furnished and so comfortable to stay. The hospitality and prompt and helpful communication from host John was much appreciated. I hope that we’ll all get a chance to stay here again someday!"
