"We had a funeral to attend and needed an area for all our family coming from out of town. This home was the perfect fit for our large family. Lots of room outside for the kids to play. The home had everything we needed and was an absolutely beautiful place. We loved the openness of the living space also. The neighbors were very nice and welcoming. Definitely would recommend."

While the basic housekeeping seemed okay and the motel has an older, rustic charm, the room's air conditioner was completely unable to cool the space—to the point where it was actually warmer inside the room than it was outside. Because the room was not comfortable or safe for a full night's sleep, we had to leave in the middle of the night and find alternative accommodations, ending up...

"Great space for a large group. Property was in great shape and provided all of the necessary cooking utensils, bedding, and toiletries. Overall a great experience and look forward to utilizing the property in the future."

"The air conditioner did not work well. The room at its lowest was 78 degrees. The staff did give us extra fans but it didn’t help. There was a microwave but no utensils. A coffee maker but no coffee cups. One roll of toilet paper for two nights for four people. Not satisfied at all."

"Was a amazing place to stay.The location made lake very convenient for fishing and jet skiing. Very clean and comfortable, the garage was a great place for the dogs to stay in there kennel when needed."

"Over all everything was great! My only complaint would be there was not enough pots and pans for what we had planned to cook so we had to adapt a little bit. We would definitely stay here again though and just bring what we need for our meals. The view was incredible and it was so nice to be able to step out at night and see the Milky Way and a sky full of stars."

"Sheets were fantastic. House needs a little work. The heat was good, hot water was good, coffee pot worked fine. The living room rug is bad, needs to be tossed. The on duty manger was very helpful with the lock. Would probably stay again if needed."

"The listing details weren’t the most accurate, it stated “bedrooms” but the two beds upstairs aren’t closed off, it’s two beds in an open loft area. The listing also talked about the “refreshing showers” and there is only one. The outdoor space was also disappointing, the fire pit is the tiniest cheap pit and for being the 4th of July weekend the weeds/grass around the cabin were ankle high if not taller. The cabin didn’t seem very clean, all the dishes and utensils are filthy, and poorly...

"We found bed bugs. The manager offered another room but this place was so run down, we left and had to drive 50 minutes away to find another hotel at 12:30 am. The blinds on the window facing the Main Street were in terrible shape. I had to improvise with a bath towel to keep people from seeing right in our room. There is a large hole in the floor that was carpeted over. Unbelievable to me that VRBO would accept this property! Very disappointed! "
