"Nice nearby pool, great amenities."

"Beautiful little cabin with a great view of the hill country. It had been years since we had driven out highway 16 from Kerrville and had forgotten what a great drive this is. Dog friendly location as well. Will definitely stay here again."

"Was great to go back to a different home away from home, the snacks were great. The people were great Great 4th of July."

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. "The room was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for our stay. Close to town and not too hard to find - directions were great! Even got to see a few deer during our stay. I would definitely use again if we were that way."

Really appreciated the little things…old school ice trays in the freezer for filling up water bottles for the hot ride! The hot tub was super clean and was great for sore muscles. You can even wash and dry...

I say queen but that’s based on how much room my wife and I had to lay down, lots of room and we are not tiny people. WiFi was fast and my wife really liked the storage areas. It took us forever to figure this out: the...
