"Historic Rail Road Hotel in a quaint Czech Kansas town. The historic aspects of the hotel are its strengths and weaknesses. The hotel retains its original foot print, meaning the rooms are small. However they have been updated with good beds and bathrooms. Unfortunately, some of the hallways and stairwells are quite worn. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Great place for adventurous travelers. Sample Room Bar and dining room are beautiful and have a great atmosphere."

"I really enjoyed my stay. The house is situated on farm property and it is very quite and peaceful. Turkeys, deer and other wildlife are frequently on the property. The house had everything I needed. I definitely will be back."

"Everything was wonderful! It was an absolutely wonderful experience! It was beautiful and very comfortable. The host was extremely helpful, accommodating and a fantastic host. The only things we wish we would have had (but we totally made do with what we had easily) a silicone spatula for Teflon pans, wire whisk and more measuring cups and spoons. For such a great experience those were extremely minor inconveniences. We hope to return and experience more of the town that we didn't have time for....
