"This is a wonderful hotel! It’s clean and tidy and the beds and pillows are very comfortable! Staff is very nice and helpful! Only downside is it doesn’t have a great breakfast, just danishes and microwave sandwiches or cereal but I stay here a lot and will continue staying here every time I’m near Berne!"

"The Franklin Green House was absolutely charming and made our stay in Berne a wonderful experience. We were in town for the UKC dog show in Portland and truly appreciated the warm hospitality provided by our hosts. The home was beautifully decorated, inviting, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were in town for a memorial service for a family member who died, and the 4 bedrooms and dining & living rooms were what we needed for our family to be able to be together. The host was very quick to respond when we needed to contact her about something, and very accommodating when we asked for a favor. It was perfect! "

"The place was clean and the staff was very helpful! However There was only 1 of the 2 bottles of "complimentary" (aka $2/ea.) water in our room when we arrived. The A/C was not working. We were woken up by construction very early Saturday morning. The final straw was when we returned to our room that night and could hear 2 small dogs barking in the room next door. Not something the hotel could prevent, but was the last thing we could put up with after trying to work with the other issues....
