Shore Beats Work - Destin Gulfgate 0201!

  • Make sure you check out this cozy 1430sqft east end condo! Located on the 3rd floor, this condo provides a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony and the three east side windows throughout the unit! Enjoy free beach service March 1st through the Sunday after Thanksgiving. (Monthly reservations do not receive complimentary beach set-ups.) This unit has a king in the master bedroom with a custom walk-in shower in the attached master bathroom. The guest bedroom has two full/double size beds. Both bedrooms and living room have flat screen TVs, DVD players and stereo. The living room sofa does fold out into a sleeper for extra bedding. The kitchen has updated granite counter tops, cabinets, and is fully stocked with everything you'll need. Complete wet bar with ice machine. Covered, garage parking is included with this unit.

    Condo does not have a landline phone and is non smoking. For monthly reservations (over 28 days) please contact Destin Gulfgate directly.

PERFECT!

I have stayed at one other Destin florida condo. This one surpassed that one by a mile. It comes with beach chairs already set up, an awesome pool, An ICE machine in the condo so you will have a nice cold drink to watch the waves. Overall PERFECT!

The lady at the desk was kind enough to find us something to accommodate two extra nights, as our home in WNC was hit hard by Hurricane Helene and there was no way for us to return home.

Everything was great. The only negative that I have, is that the “master” bedroom, king bed, was very stiff and not comfortable at all. In fact, the couch and love seat were way more comfortable to lay on. That truly was the only negative.

I only had one thing to mention, master shower has quite a bit of mold and it gave off a moldy smell. Perhaps a good clean would get rid of that. Also I have a few concerns about the facilities, I saw lots of bugs and no type of security, one night when walking the beach with my kids I saw I strange looking man with his hands inside the front of his bathing suit almost exposing himself walking up to the destin gulf gate doors to access the beach. Doors are open all night and the door to access beach is broken. It made me feel a little unsafe and restless. There was two nights when the kids and I were by ourselves so it made me a bit scared. Maybe a security guard or being able to lock doors at night would be a good idea

The kitchens have a good supply of cooking utensils.The location is great. We can walk many places.It is easy to get into and out of the place.The balconies are very long.The condos are spacious & tastefully decorated. Some condos in Destin are full of clutter.(large unattractive green plants, inexpensive knick knacks on every surface )The description of Gulfgate is perfect. We have recommended it to other people, and everyone cannot wait to return.
