We accept 40% down on the initial payment (plus VRBO fees, taxes and PDP) and the balance is due 60 days prior to check in. We offer 100% refund if cancelling outside of those 60 days regardless of reason. Welcome to Beach Buck Destin in the Center of it All. One of the largest homes in this gated community and with private Gulf frontage! Beach Buck, with 8,035 sq ft of space under roof with plenty of room to host your family reunion, corporate retreat, church group visit, guys trip or gals trip with beachfront living with an elevator and its on-site work out room. Dunes of Destin has a community pool 1/4 mile of Beach Buck.

First, a little history about us…Why is it named Beach Buck? We started with VRBO around 8 years ago with our 1st of 7 lodges in Gatlinburg, Buckhead Lodge. For years, our guests have asked if we had anything to offer them at the beach. Well, when we lost our 1st lodge, Buckhead Lodge in the wildfires, 2016, we decided to give them a beach option.

Located in the heart and soul of Destin, Dunes of Destin is a private, gated community. This upscale community is one of the most exclusive vacation communities Destin has to offer! Amenities include a private beach, a community pool, gazebos and a private lake with beautiful fountains that are lighted and look stunning at night. This community is beautifully maintained and lovely to stroll at any time of day.

Dunes of Destin is just minutes from everything the area has to offer. There is something for everyone in the family! You may enjoy world class shopping at one of the areas many shopping centers – Destin Commons, Silver Sands Factory Stores, Harbor Walk Village and the shops at Baytowne Wharf. The Destin area is home to countless award winning restaurants, nationally renowned golf courses and many great outdoor and indoor activities.

We have always held our guests in high esteem and cared for their health as well. We have our own commercial washer and dryer machines that are never integrated with anyone else's linens but ours. We have always incorporated bleach cleaning but have also added alcohol cleaning of high traffic locations such as tv remotes, light switches, keypads, alarm pads, etc. For many years, we have utilized an HVAC UV light purification system. The benefits for that air purification system are:

Reduce almost all the bacteria and mold, as well as other pathogen agents that are airborne and therefore, travel through your house. The UV lights installed in the HVAC system don’t allow the buildup of any organic material inside the system itself that would, otherwise, harbor these pathogens.

In the absence of pathogen agents, mold, virus and bacteria, the incidence of colds and flu will also be reduced. As a result, the cost efficiency of UV lights will show itself in time, considering their health benefits.

Get rid of fouls smells. They are also caused by bacteria and fungus which give out a musty smell that spreads throughout the house.

Prevent algae growth.

Enjoy this extremely spacious 8 bedroom, 9 bath beachfront home located in Dunes of Destin. Walk to Big Kahuna, Dunkin Donuts, Hershey’s ice cream parlor, Mellow Mushroom and more. Experience the beauty in this magnificent private home with a residential elevator that accesses all 4 floors. Views from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th levels of the Gulf with a private dune walkover.

Level 1/Entertainment Level: Pool (heated in cooler seasons) with a hot tub (pre-programmed jets and heat 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm). Tiki Bar with commercial grill and Bluetooth speakers poolside! Indoor there's a flat screen tv, two sitting areas with 2 Queen Pull Out couches & 2 Twin Pull Out Chairs, ping pong table, foosball table and Ms Pacman Multicade Game (60 games), bar top table and chairs with a full bath.

Level 2/Living Room/Kitchen Level: King bed (sleeps 2) with private bath and Tommy Bahama Living Room furniture with Queen Pull Out Sofa (sleeps 2) on this level. These tables extend to seat a total of 24 at the tables and 5 bar stools at the kitchen bar. The Exercise Room is located on this level as well. The Laundry Room has a double full size washer and dryer set and is located on this level along with the half bath. Walk your grilling items to the propane grill on the same level as the kitchen in the breezeway between the entry and the exercise room for your convenience.

Level 3: 1 King Master bedroom (sleeps 2), 1 King bed bedroom (sleeps 2) en-suite and 1 King bed bedroom with 1 Twin and 1 Twin Trundle) (sleeps 4 - great for kids) and is also en-suite.

Level 4/Top Level: 3 King bed bedrooms (sleeps 6) and 1 Double Queen bedroom (that means 2 Queen beds in 1 room) along with 1 convertible chair (sleeps 5 - great room for kids). All these bedrooms have private baths. This level has the Observation Room with sitting benches as well as a quiet reading area with a lounge chair with a beautiful view of the gulf.

Have I mentioned the deck sizes? 9’ x 40’ on Levels 1, 2, and 3. Some of the things we provide is a Pak n Play, 4 chairs/2 umbrellas set up complimentary of Beach Buck (March 1 – October 30). Personal chairs allowed on beach but not personal umbrellas or tents.

Property is excellent. lol amenities were in place. Cleanliness was certainly above average. Only negative observed was the difficult parking situation. Single lane driveway required frequent jingling of cars. Small inconvenience and I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone with a large group.

A gem

Our family of 19 were so impressed with the accommodations. 8 adults and 11 kids ranging from 8-17. The 4 master suites were perfect for the adults…..each with a private balcony. So conveniently located we were able to walk to souvenir shops, fish market, ice cream and candy store. Publix is just a few miles away. Spent most of our time on the beach but did go deep sea fishing and caught plenty of fish for dinner. We have stayed at many VRBOs in many locations, but we all agreed…..this was our favorite. It was a 10. Thank you to our host Tari. The few times we had questions, she responded very quickly. We hope to book again.

50th Birthday Party

We celebrated my husband’s 50th on the property. We had 8 couples. Location is amazing and proximity to the beach was a dream! The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the amenities we needed. We had a small issue pop up, but I contacted the owner and it was addressed right away. Would definitely recommend staying at Beach Buck! You will not be disappointed!

Oceanfront Getaway

The outside area is beautiful. Big pool and hot tub, and the beach chairs and umbrellas were a special added bonus! Close to everything you need on vacation. Host is very attentive to any need or request. Salt like sand and clear waters make the beach so inviting.

Over-rated property

As the weekly rental rate for this house is expensive, I thought I was booking an exceptional house for our family get together. This house is not exceptional. It is a bit beat up and tired. The cleanliness upon arrival was spotty at best. We struggled all week with the refrigerator maintaining a safe temp. Even toward the end of our week with little food it was reading 57 degrees. The shower knob in the primary bedroom was broken, the shower in one of the other bedrooms had a shower curtain that was way too short, the grills were gross upon our arrival, and the pool had black algae. One of the bedrooms had drapes with holes in them and broken shudders on 2 windows. The listing also incorrectly stated that one of the bedrooms has bunk beds when actually it is a twin bed with a trundle. After a couple days we just tried to ignore the deficiencies and enjoy our time together at the beach. On the positive side, the owners were responsive but there was only so much they could do to make it right in the week we were there. I would not stay at this property again.

An Amazing Vacation

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our children, grandchildren, and other family members - 22 people. The house was excellent- clean, spacious, and welcoming. We felt at home and enjoyed the patios, the pool, and the beach. The view of the gulf was so breathtaking and relaxing. Our chef son and family were able to prepare delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen Ann the outside grill. Our hostess Tari was an excellent communicator and immediately responded to resolve any problems. This was the best vacation we have ever had in Destin.

Relax and play

Place is great. lot of room. fun for all the grandchildren(9) and the 8 adults. Pool and hot tub were perfect and loved cooking at the tiki bar so we didn't have to go out and fight the crowd. Tari communicated with me asap on anything I requested of her.

Destin Disappointment

Great communication with property manager at the beginning. Answered questions right away...we had quite a few since we had never been to that area before. Move in day questions were also answered promptly. View was amazing! That is where things change, unfortunately. House appeared nice when first walking in...not so! Discovered hair in bathtub, shower handle broken, sand in beds, a/c system really off...some rooms hot while others were freezing! Stains on walls. Very uncomfortable furniture around the pool. Not sure that all bedding was changed or house cleaned properly. VERY disappointed with what we paid for and what we got! Definitely needs to be updated. Unfortunately we will not be renting from these managers again.

Great 4th of July experience

Everything was awesome. Kitchen and dining area lay out is perfect. Master bedroom is large with great closet space. We enjoyed cooking by the tiki bar and pool is a great place to relax after a day on the beach.

Destin Vacation

Overall impression was great. However, the bed on the third floor closest to the stairwell is really bad to sleep in. The mattress really needs to be replaced. Also the bunk bed seems pretty unstable. Lastly the towel hooks are about to fall off of the walls. The hooks were like that when we arrived. The kitchen could have been stocked a little better. The pots and pans are very worn. The pool was awesome and the quick walk to the beach was perfect. Overall we had a great vacation.

Dunes of Destin

The house is beautiful inside and out along with a great location. The pool and hot tub are very nice and the beach is right out your door. The AC went out on the first floor of which it took an entire day to wait for the repair guy. The refrigerator also went to 55 degrees because the first floor was at 80. It was fixed, but the manner in which the owner spoke to me was very degrading and uncalled for.

Wonderful Vacation!

Our whole family, ranging from 3-72 had fun at this house. Plenty of room, the pool was so nice and the hot tub great in the evenings. The elevator was very helpful for getting luggage to the 3rd and 4th floors. Owner was very responsive when ever we had any issues. The only negative was not being able to leave any kind of sauces, or things like mayo, mustard in the frig that would be very helpful for the next people. We ended up having to throw out alot of food. The other hard part was that the driveway does hold 4 cars, but its one lane. So in order to get a back car out, all cars need to be moved. Not a big deal, just to be aware of it. Would definitely come again!

Great Home in awesome location

This is a great beach house located in a perfect area. We were a family of 19 and we had so much space for everyone. So nice to be located right on the beach and to have a private pool and hot tub as well. A short walk to ice cream shop, close proximity to lots of great areas to visit and overall great house. The only complaint from multiple people in the group was the lack of supplies in comparison to other large houses like this we have stayed in together before. No basic kitchen supplies like ziplock/foil, cooking spray, salt/pepper(owner brought some after we reached out) or some of those basic necessities that you'd expect like that. Only a couple garbage bags(no garbage bags at first, but owner was quick to respond and gave us a couple bags, which surprised us since we are a large group staying an entire week), no extra toilet paper and paper towels were provided, tiny shampoo/conditioner enough for an overnight stay, yet it's a full week booking. We have never experienced having to purchase these little extras at other larger expensive units like this before. It does specify in the rental agreement they would provide "starter" items, but most of the group was bothered upon arrival by having to go to the store to purchase every little thing after only a day stay. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware like pots/pans, dishware, etc. Plenty of towels in each bathroom and for the beach as well. The overall house is wonderful and we would stay again.

We stayed here for a second time (last was 3 years ago) and had a great time again! The host was very responsive to all of our needs and the house fit our group of 17 perfectly. Definitely a recommended property.

It was a privilege to stay at this home! Thank you for the great communication! Working with the actual owner vs a corporation or large company has huge benefits. I would implore anyone on the fence just do it.

Amazing stay over New Year's holiday

We booked this home for a 5 night stay over New Year's. Our entire family was able to make it with ages ranging from 9 - 81. The house is exactly as pictured and even better. The communication with the home owner was easy and quick. We had plenty of room for all 16 of us, with everyone having their own rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Although a few days were cold, the view of the beach from every level was spectacularly beautiful. The game room, pool and hot tub were all used heavily even though it was a cooler period. The kitchen is very well stocked and every room was very comfortable. Any question that came up along the way was responded to immediately. We even had a small overnight bag left in the house and the owner was so quick to respond and helped us get it shipped back. We would book this house in a heartbeat and highly recommend to any large group looking for a great house right on the beach in a quiet community!
