Whale Watching Has Never Been Easier At This Studio In Depoe Bay!

Urban meets small coastal village. You can't beat the location of this ultra modern studio loft apartment perched above a prominent retail location in the heart of Depoe Bay. The Spouting Horn One condo is the perfect home base for all of your central coast activities. Your visit to the "Whale Watching Capital of the Oregon Coast" is sure to be a memorable one. There is a resident pod of grey whales which makes it's home off Depoe Bay from March through December. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the Whale Watch Center, a charter boat trip, or the many shore observation spots. When you stay at the Spouting Horn, you can whale watch from the comfort of your warm bed. How incredible!

Spouting Horn One is a studio with a comfy King bed and living area with a sofa that can be made into a sleeper and boasts spectacular Depoe Bay views. The full kitchen stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, full size gas range, microwave and refrigerator. Sit out on the glass protected deck to watch the whales and the spouting horn! Need more room? Rent Spouting Horn One, Two and Three or any combination for a larger group of up to 10 people!

Depoe Bay has the smallest natural navigable harbor in the world consisting of six square acres. A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area which enables visitors to shop and dine always within view of the ocean. The waves run beneath lava beds and build pressure to spout water as high as 60 feet in the air. These are known as spouting horns and are particularly dramatic at times of high tide. You won't want to miss watching the extraordinary coast guard training missions in the large surf just off the sea wall. There is plenty to enjoy all within walking distance. You can stay busy for days exploring up and down the coast from this convenient location!

This home has a 2-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Do not hesitate to stay here! Very responsive. Everything you could need in the studio apartment. You even get a free coffee in the shop in the store under the studio in the morning.

We just returned from 4 nights at this location. We loved the location and view. We got lucky and had some sunny days in November, which doesn't always happen on the Oregon coast. So we were able to sit out on the chairs with coffee to watch the spouting across the street. The balcony of this unit is not covered, but if it is raining, there are also nice views from inside the unit. The free coffee offered downstairs was excellent, and there was also a Keurig machine and a regular drip coffee maker in the room. We could hear a little of the music coming from the coffee shop downstairs in the morning, but it was faint and not too noticeable. We had a minor issue the first night, and management offered a solution quickly. Check in was easy and the cleanup requirements were very minor at the end of the stay. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. They even supplied binoculars in the room for whale watching. We just booked another room from this property management company in Newport for next month since we were so happy with this one. We will definitely rent this unit or one of the units next door the next time we stay in Depoe Bay. All the pictures posted with this review were taken from the unit. Some with zoom on of course.

First time in OR and definitely won't be my last! I truly laid in the bed in the morning and watched whales in rhe bay! The ease of walking everywhere in town is an added plus and it was a quick drive to many beaches! My pup and my surrogate daughter loved to people watch from the balcony! We'll be back for aure!!

Enjoying the view

Great place for a quick getaway from Albany. Views were spectacular and the ocean didn’t disappoint. Bed was very comfortable and linen was clean and plenty of towels. Easy and convenient parking. I will definitely go back.

A Room with a View ... and more!

We selected this location after researching many options in Depoe Bay - and we were not disappointed. It is as lovely and well-appointed as in the photos and description. The location allows walking to shops and restaurants, and the view is amazing. We were thrilled to watch the local pod of gray whales from our deck. Additional bonuses is the coffee and bakery goods and beautiful PNW items in the shop directly below. We were there multiple times daily. We both agreed we would rent this again soon!

Whales!

We saw whales from the room and while sitting on the balcony. It’s fun to sit and stare at the ocean from there. Fun to people watch, too. The convenience of just walking around the corner to the shops and restaurants is fantastic! A place you must stay!

Chef's paradise!

The amenities at the home in Depoe Bay were many! It was very easy to prepare any meal we wanted including several charcuterie boards! Coffee and snack shop was just below our rental! Sitting at the granite counter, eating delicious food while watching the ocean at Sprouting Horn was incredible! We loved every minute of our stay, dining out, hiking locally, walking on the many beaches, all made our trip from Washington to the coast very memorable. So many good options as we walked locally or took a quick 20 minute drive north or south of Depoe Bay. Thanks for the use of this beautiful home and amazing location for our summer getaway!

Must stay here it worth it

It was very nice clean they had everything we need bed was comfortable! There is tv with the dvd we plug are Apple TV work great! I would recommend to anyone to stay there my favorite was eating dinner watching the boats out there in the ocean such beautiful view! If we come back we are sure going stay here again because we did not have to drive so far closer to Chester market was nice you don’t have drive there walk! everything walking distance so nice yes many people Yea there is little store down stairs shop coffee lunch dinner breakfast just got to go check it out!! This place you can only have 4 people yes I give this a five star thank you sweet home for keeping clean
