Sweeping snow-capped Continental Divide views from Mount Evans to Indian Peaks to Longs Peak from this home nestled on 7+ acres on Scar Top Mountain. Located at the top of a county maintained road, this property offers a truly rare combination of spectacular views, privacy, ultra fast fiber high speed Internet, and limited/no noise pollution while maintaining proximity to Boulder, Golden, and Nederland.

Guest access:

Guests will be provided a keycode for entrance and will be able to access the entire house, property, and two car garage.

Other things to note:

Property is located off a well maintained county road that is accessible by all vehicle types. In winter (roughly Oct-April), this road is plowed, but AWD or 4WD is required.

Property has high quality fiber Internet for WiFi calling with any cell phone. Traditional cell coverage can be limited, but AT&T does also have 5 bars of service.

The description of the home is accurate and the upgrades made to the kitchen and main living area are great. The views are spectacular any time of day. The kitchen is full of dishes and pots/pans, an air fryer and toaster. Bring your own coffee…but great coffee pot. Lots of spices and cooking things. Beds are comfortable and house is maintained really well. The driveway up is a little rough, so definitely take note of the 4WD if there is snow. We didn’t have snow during our stay, but could see how it would be an adventure to tackle! Easy to find, close to golden and boulder. The perfect spot for the mountain get away close enough to town. Would definitely come back!

Amazing property and views. Communication with Philip was easy and he was extremely helpful throughout our stay. When a surprise snowstorm came through the morning of our departure, he drove up to make sure we could get out safely. Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

We were pleasantly surprised with the great mountain views! The host was very helpful when the temperatures dropped into single digits during our stay. Our second night we got an inch of snow making our return to the house tense. I would highly suggest you have a 4x4 or AWD vehicle when there is a chance it might be snowy. Our front wheel drive (my gamble) made it up the roadway and driveway, but it was sketchy.We would definitely stay here again.

The view from the house is really tremendous! We spent Thanksgiving there and the kitchen was very well equipped and well stocked with cookware Given the amount of glass and where it's located, the house was very warm and draft free. The house was clean and he beds very comfortable. The only negative for us was that the furniture is a little sparse, but it s exactly as pictured on the listing. So that was as I expected. All in all a great stay.

Scar Top Mountain Escape is amazing!!!! Beautiful views and great house!! Super clean and exceptional communication with Phil. Plenty of room to relax, very nice well appointed kitchen, and a cozy wood burning fireplace insert. We celebrated our daughter’s graduation from University of Denver with her MSW.We definitely would return!!

Beautiful secluded location, fantastic views from the deck, convenient drive to local attractions. House is comfortable but has minimal furnishings. West-facing windows provide great views from inside but quickly heat up the entire main floor on hot, sunny summer days, no matter how many portable fans we brought in to use with the ceiling fans and curtains drawn to block sun. No blinds or curtains on upper portion of the living room wall window or in the kitchen/dining area really cooked the house. In contrast, many other days were cool and comfortable in the evenings. The basement bedrooms stayed cool at all times. The host was responsive and answered any questions we had. All in all, we would rent the house again, but not during a heat wave.

Awesome views!

We had a wonderful week visiting our son. Property was clean, beds comfortable, and views from every room were breathtaking! We were fortunate enough to see about 6 inches of snow one night which was a bonus, even though we were not able to make it quite up the shared driveway even in a AWD but it all worked out well and didn’t hinder anyone or any plans we had. Phil is a wonderful host!

Million dollar view

Absolutely beautiful views. It's a great location with access to many wonderful attractions and parks. The property is clean but could use a few updates with pots pans, stove, and lack of homey touches. The hot water is HOT so be careful. Local dining and even live music, too...Overall a beautiful place we would enjoy visiting again

Colorado Mountain Dream

Everything is exactly as seen on the online photographs. The views are amazing. The house is very comfortable and even the roads to access the property during the summer months were easier than we had anticipated. As was said on an earlier review, I strongly suggest that you bring camp chairs with you as the outdoor seating is not overly comfortable. Also, be prepared that some kitchen supplies may be limited, but the property manager will have more brought over.
