"Clean rooms"

"Needed a two night stay to visit family in the area. The staff is phenomenal. The biggest reason for my review is to announce that I appreciated them greatly. Super friendly, good conversation and patient. My husband, two children and I fit comfortably in the two queen bed room. My mother had to purchase her own room due to fire safety (completely understandable). We swam in the pool the first night but did not stay in long due to an overwhelming smell. "Comfortable rooms"

"The rooms are only separated by a locked door. The person in the room next to us was blasting music all evening. We complained to the front desk, they said they would call the room and have them turn the music down, that never happened. The music blared all night resulting in no sleep for my husband and I, with a 10 hour drive ahead of us. Okay place just to lay your head, but not if you want to get a restful sleep"

"Love that breakfast was served until 1000. I am not an early riser so this worked out perfect for me. I also loved that each day there was a different choice of foods to choose from. I am allergic to a lot of foods and this was especially helpful to me. The front end associates were very nice and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back."

"Our stay at The Opal and West House was amazing! We stayed for a friend’s wedding and found traveling around the city extremely easy and quick while staying here. There was unfortunately an issue with our AC during the first day of our stay, but Lynsie was so accommodating ensuring us a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back!"

Pool was closed both days, which was very disappointing since that was the reason we booked here. Upon arrival I couldn’t find a desk clerk, so we left and came back 30 minutes later . "I booked this for my Fiance who flew from Naples, Fl to visit her father for Father’s Day. He is in an assisted living facility. She checked into the hotel and the front desk person was in her office smoking a cigarette. She got to the room and she felt very uncomfortable. The furniture had stains and the bedspread was stained as well. Both tv’s in the room did not work. She went back to the front desk and asked if she could move to a different room.
