Deer Creek Ranch House

  • Enjoy the ranch life in a cozy newly remodeled home. If you are interested in skiing, fishing, boating (5 min from the docks), water sports, hiking, hunting, or just being outdoors this is a great location. It has beautiful views of mount Timpanogas, is minutes from Deer Creek reservoir, Sundance Ski Resort, the Provo river and Midway. Deer Valley ski resort and Park City are just 30 minutes away. The house sleeps 16 (view bedroom accommodations) and includes a hot tub, firepit, patios with views, outdoor shower, ping pong, movie room, laundry room, games, stationary bike, a treehouse, swing, pickleball/basketball court, and a bbq. It's a perfect location for a getaway to escape city life. You will share the land with animals, all in their enclosures. 5 day minimum over holidays.

Our stay here over Christmas was magical.... We thought we would have snow all around us and that's why we rented it. We had our grandkids visiting from AZ and Las Vegas who all were looking forward to playing in the snow. But it didn't seem to matter that there was no snow at all! They absolutely loved the place. It is so relaxing and looking out the big glass window/sliding glass doors in the back and seeing the horses, goats, chickens and beautiful scenery made it so fun! Blake was so great to work with and responded with every question and any need we had! Would stay here again for sure!! Several of our grandkids cried when we left and asked if we could go there again next year...

Most Beautiful Views

Wow! This place is the perfect getaway. It’s quiet & beautiful. The view out of the kitchen window is UNREAL! The home is so charming & clean. We loved the hot tub and pickleball courts. It was the perfect getaway. Thank you!!!

The setting and amenities were perfect for our family reunion and we had a wonderful time. Some suggestions for future:1) Provide instruction for operating the dual ovens. This was rather confusing.2) No dish towels or dish rags were provided in the kitchen. We got by using hand towels and wash cloths.3) House needs a thorough spraying for earwigs - we say dozens inside the house.4) Kitchen needs a few more plastic containers for storing leftovers.5) Patio umbrella needs repair or replacing.6) Portacrib is very unstable and unusable.Thank you for accommodating our early check-in.

The host was slow to respond through the VRBO app, sometimes taking days for a response. The listing was deceiving regarding the gym, game room and bathrooms. The gym was an old treadmill in the garage. The game room did not have a pool table or ping pong table as described and there were 2 full bathrooms, not 2 1/2 as listed. Upon arrival the upstairs was unbearably hot (85 degrees) and the downstairs unbearably cold. We learned that the heat had been left on but turning on the A/C didn’t help. A sign in the kitchen directed us to call a number with any problems. Since we hadn’t had good luck getting a response through the VRBO app, we called and left a message with the owner. She suggested closing the downstairs vents and opening upstairs ones which we had already done. After 24 hours of no relief our son determined the system was frozen. We were told the property mgr would come by to help but later learned he was unavailable b/c he was camping in an area with no cell service. When he finally arrived on the 3rd day and opened the locked utilities area our son found a filthy A/C filter that he said was the dirtiest he’d ever seen. Once the property mgr bought a new filter and it was installed the A/C finally worked and we were all finally able to get a good nights sleep. We never saw the HVAC company the owner said was notified to fix the problem. The property was lovely and we enjoyed the animals and views but our 1st 3 days obviously were disappointing.
