A traditional holiday for all the family, in this spacious chalet on the Kent coast with views over the English Channel.. Ground Floor:

Separate Toilet.. Electric underfloor heating (ground floor), electric heaters (first floor), electricity (£1 coin meter), bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Laundry room with coin-operated washer/dryer (shared with other properties on site). Garden with patio and garden furniture. Swimming pool (shared with other properties on site). Parking permit for 1 car included. No smoking.. Chalet 56 lies in the Kingsdown Holiday Park, set on the stunning Kent coast. Located between Dover and Deal, this is a great location to explore all that Kent has to offer. The chalet is spacious and ideal for a family or group of friends looking for a break to the seaside. The doors open out onto a decking area which is a lovely addition to the property and is really special on a summer evening, watching the sunset with a nice glass of wine. This well-equipped chalet has been developed to a good standard. There are washing and drying facilities on the park site, as well as a heated indoor swimming pool, which can be booked at the reception desk or pool, for short swims.

Kingsdown Holiday Park has panoramic views over the English Channel with 36-acres of its own land to explore and enjoy. Nearby attractions include Deal and Walmer castles, both steeped in history. Deal also has a highly acclaimed main street with many individual shops. Take a stroll along the sea front, sample the fish and chips and enjoy entertainment throughout the year at its famous bandstand.
A little further afield is Margate with its renowned Turner Centre and Dreamland, and Broadstairs with Viking Bay, plus plenty of golf courses to choose from. A day trip to Canterbury is a must with its dominant cathedral and city walls, boutique shops for a spot of retail therapy or try sampling the local ales in one of the many bars. A day trip to France is popular with ferries from Dover, or a train from Ashford. Beach 250 yards. Three pubs, all with indoor and outdoor seating and serving meals, and a small local shop, all within a 5-minute walk of the Holiday Park. Beach 250 yards. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Fun property near the water

Jon was the ultimate host. The house was very well appointed. Kingsdown Park is a really cute community. We only spent 2 nights, but had a very pleasant stay, and were easily able to explore Deal and Dover.

Super Haus, super Gastgeber

Ein total schönes, sauberes Haus. Es ist gut eingerichtet und hat einen unglaublich netten Vermieter, der uns unfassbar gastfreundlich empfangen hat und jederzeit erreichbar gewesen wäre, wenn es denn irgendwelche Probleme gegeben hätte. Die Umgebung und der der Ferienpark waren waren super schön und es gibt viele Burgen und andere Sehenswürdigkeiten zu entdecken. Vielen Dank für Alles Jon!!!

House for a summer vacation at the sea

We really liked our stay with you! In good reach for our daily excursions and very close to the Dover ferry! There was a big welcome package waiting for us upon arrival which we enjoyed throughout our whole stay. When having a question on the power supply mechanism (coin metering), we were helped and explained immediately.

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen

Alles hat hier gepasst! Ein wirklich nettes Häuschen mit allem was du brauchst. Inkl. einem reichlich gefüllten Willkommensgruß des Vermieters. Für 6 Erwachsene wird es jedoch vor allem bei schlechtem Wetter eng…wir hatten wettertechnisch voll Glück!
