A fun, exciting, and convenient lodging experience right on Main Street Deadwood

A fun and unique Deadwood experience awaits! Whether it's an event weekend or a fun escape with friends, this cozy home on lower Main Street in Deadwood can't be beat! While it's quiet on lower Main, the exciting action of downtown Deadwood is at your fingertips just a block away. Deadwood is also a central location and tourist attractions such as Mt Rushmore (35 min), Custer State Park (1hr), and Devil's Tower (45 min) can be accessed easily. Enjoy entertainment nightly without having to fuss with parking or late night driving. Bring the trucks and trailers because we are located directly across from the free city parking lot!

We don't guarantee the Ritz, but we do guarantee a cozy, clean, & fun spot to chill in Deadwood with friends and family.
Please be advised, some guests may have to duck going upstairs. This home is not completely renovated and still maintains many historic aspects including windows and walls so please be aware that while it's clean, cozy, and comfortable, it still has older home quirks like the short staircase, older windows, and closets and bedrooms that do not have doors (this is common in 1930's homes). The main master bedroom and the double twin room upstairs have doors. The third bedroom does have a curtain for privacy.

The space:
Top floor: Bedroom 1 has 1 Full bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 Twin beds
Main floor: Master bedroom with Queen bed, Bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, and utility room with washer and dryer.

The deck: seating and outdoor dining table, 2 swivel chairs. Overlooks the city parking lot, Deadwood Visitors Center, and lower Main.

Parking: 2 spots behind house. City parking is across the street for additional vehicles or trailers.
No pets.
No smoking indoors.
2 car maximum parked at the house (more parking at city lot across the street)
No underage drinking or parties
Guests are financially responsible for any damages that occur during their stay

Just like promised in the description, “not the Ritz but a good time.” It was the perfect place to stay with a mix of adults and kids for the Deadwood half marathon. Perfect central location and ample space to hang out.

The house is in a great location to see all the touristy sites! It was comfortable for sleeping and the laundry area was just what we needed. Since we have 6 in our family, it wasn’t super comfortable for relaxing together in the living spaces, but otherwise it was perfect!

I showed up @ the property a little early the day of arrival. The previous guests had left for the day, but the cleaning crew had not yet been to the property. I then called Brandi(Property Manager) on her mobile. She answered my call. had thought the cleaning crew was already finished but came over right away & cleaned the entire house by herself. Just another great example of South Dakota Hospitality! Brandi was absolutely fantastic!!

A few steps down the hill and you are conveniently located at the entrance of all the Main Street attractions! We appreciated the cleanliness and comfortable beds. The description of the property is accurate by stating it is an older house, but it is very comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent location to stay! Very clean and host very accommodating, when we needed to adjust our dates of stay. In town for family wedding, worked great for family & friends to hang out at times as well. Only thing about the place, may be challenging for anyone with ability to maneuver the stairs both front and back of the house. Would recommend!

Convenient location. The stairs to the two upstairs rooms are steep and as a 5ft tall woman I had to duck under the rail to get up the stairs. House was clean, beds comfortable and the sheets on the bed were so soft!
