The Wave Oceanfront 1BR Direct Ocean Views

Welcome to The Wave, a direct oceanfront one-bedroom with the Atlantic filling the windows. Wake up to the waves, grab a coffee and start your day by the ocean.

There's room for the whole crew. The unit sleeps up to 6 with two queen beds and a queen pull-out sofa, plus a kitchenette with a cooktop, microwave and fridge. The balcony opens onto the building's shared walkway, and entry is through the street-side door; your check-in instructions will point you to the right one.

Waiting for you at the resort: an oceanfront pool, an indoor pool, two hot tubs, a sauna and a workout room. It's a big, lively, family-friendly resort with a fun pool deck.

The beach is a short stroll through the public access on the north side of the building, and you're right on the "World's Most Famous Beach," where the locals go. Restaurants, bars, shops, Publix and Marshalls are right across the street. It's about 20 minutes from Daytona Beach International, 50 minutes from Sanford and an hour and a half from Orlando.

Parking is in the resort's two outdoor lots, first come, first served, with one spot included. No trailers.

Good to know: the resort is partway through a multi-year renovation, so you may hear some daytime work noise and see a little dust. For now, the tiki bar, restaurant, one outdoor pool, the kiddie pool and the parking garage are closed. There's no beach access straight from the building or pool deck. The kitchenette has no oven, and there's no washer or dryer in the unit; guest laundry is on floors 3, 4 and 5 by the north elevators. Two beach towels are provided.
