When the owners of this architectural wonder happened upon it - in an area most nearby Pittsburgh residents never knew existed - they knew it was special. This home offers a transcendent peace from the moment you step foot onto its tree-laden grounds. Guests can expect nights filled with the delicious warmth of crackling fires and chirping crickets, and a resonant feeling of reconnection - to whoever you're celebrating your stay with and to nature itself. The A-Frame in the Woods is mystical like that - leaving it's guests with a fulfilling sense of wonderment and rejuvenation they can carry on with them.

My family and friends stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. The place was absolutely gorgeous and very remote and we all loved it! The view is lovely and peaceful and very private with trees and rolling PA hills. There is plenty to do to keep you busy indoors with games, books, or just relaxing. The kids loved the loft area upstairs and we enjoyed playing darts and foosball downstairs. The hottub is just right off the back deck and was in excellent working condition. We all loved using the hottub! The patio/deck are beside it was magical, although since the temperature was freezing outside, we didnt make use of it (but it would be perfect for warmer weather!!). There are plenty of towels provided, which is a plus! Check-in went smoothly, and the owner was wonderful and quick to repond to any questions we had. Things to note is that there is well water, so be mindful of your water usage when staying here. It was not an issue for us as the owner made us aware of this ahead of time 😊 We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
