Amazing Winter Cabin!

It was incredibly close to Timberline for skiing, the hottub was amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The mgmt company was incredibly responsive and checkin and out was very easy. Would recommend to anyone!

Very clean, well maintained, beautiful view of a pond from main living room windows and deck. Kitchen was well stocked. Living room was very comfortable, and hot tub worked great. Overall a great experience and easy to navigate. Picky drawbacks were internet that struggled to handle multiple devices and AC that is downstairs only so upstairs bedrooms were tough to cool down on some warm days, which is likely not an issue most of the year. As well, this is a duplex but we didn't hear anything of our neighbors, so not an issue for us!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Best of Canaan was great to work with. As a place stay this is a wonderful place. Unfortunately construction on the spa on the next street and the gaps in the screens on the sliding glass doors let ants in so we had to keep these shut and the AC on since screens are missing on the living room windows. Also odd that there are no hangers in the closet on the main level BRl. Place was dusty, though, and did find food droppings on the dining chairs and hard to reach places in the kitchen.

We called to c if we could cancel due to accident of 2 guests and the answer was no. There was miscommunication and since our reservation was taken when we got there they got us another place . But the original booked place had a hot tub which was our main amenity

Hot Tub Problem

The place was wonderful,,, The view the layout , very comfortable beds,,,, One gripe,,, Hot tub never worked,, but we couldn't control the temperature or the jets,, it was so hot that it a person could not stand it,,, We called and let the realtor know the problem,,, She gave a quick response,,, very professional,, let us know that someone would be stopping to check the problem,,, the person looked and let us know that he is not the right person to fix it,,, He cleaned the filter and rest with the breaker,,, It didnt fix it,,, he agreed that there was a problem with it,,, One day of the four we had no hot tub

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all it was an excellent stay. The home and furnishing were great the view was spectacular. A couple of improvements are recommended. 1. There are no small appliances i.e. mixer or beaters, standard toaster or crock pot. These would help. There were no 8x8 or 9x9 baking pans. There were only 4 large mixing bowls and now serving dishes for the table. There was also an ant issue which the pest control company needs to address. None of these would discourage us from returning.

Nice Place With Misleading Description

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although this place was nice, I couldn't give it 5 stars because the description of the property was intentionally misleading, as it states it is a "Home" (the only picture of the front is of half of a house) but it's actually a TOWNHOME with full time neighbors on the side not shown in the pic. This was an important omission because our group prefers a very secluded setting where we don't have to worry about being annoying to others (playing music/movies or conversing too loud, etc.). However, because most of the other townhomes nearby appeared vacant during our stay, the area was very quiet and the well placed trees and overall layout helped to give the unit a more private feel. As for the property itself, we found it to be in good condition and it does have a great view of the lake from the living room and deck, so that part of the description was very accurate. We appreciated the large TV in the living room and the free streaming services were a really nice touch. The furniture and beds were pretty comfortable and the grill was in good shape with a full propane tank. We really enjoyed the hot tub; it was clean and well maintained and in a great location (under cover and with a view of the lake) and the hydraulic assisted cover was a great feature. The unit was pretty clean overall but I'd recommend a good window cleaning, especially on the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, which provides most of the view. The few things we found needing attention were fairly insignificant, such as the main bedroom/bathroom doors not latching properly, the fireplace screen falling apart, the rotary fan control in the main bedroom didn't work, the main bedroom TV remote was missing and the kitchen layout was odd with not much counter space. Overall, if you don't mind staying in a townhouse (with more of a community atmosphere), I would certainly recommend this place as it does have a lot to offer.

Very pleasant stay

Bedding and towels were comfortable. The hot tub was very nice. The only negative is that after a couple showers, the water would get warm. It was a quick 2 minute drive to the ski lodge, so easy to drop off skiers. I would stay again.
