The Charming Loft Cabin is nestled between the quaint towns of Davis and Thomas in Tucker County, West Virginia. Beautiful nature, lively bars, locally sourced restaurants, and bustling art scenes are only minutes away.

Blackwater Falls State Park Lodge is one mile away. The 57 foot high cascading waterfall and the longest sled run on the East Coast are just around the corner. Guests can also enjoy their gym facilities for only $3.
Timberline Mountain Ski Resort, Canaan Valley State Park and ski area are only 15 minutes away.

ABOUT THE AREA
This charming cabin is located in heart of the Allegheny Mountains in Tucker County - just minutes from the quaint and bustling sister towns of Davis and Thomas. The cabin community's architectural design is reminiscent of European ski chalets. This community of quaint townhome cabins is peaceful and friendly. This unique stay in my loft cabin is the best location to explore Davis, Thomas, and Canaan Valley.

At an elevation of 3,520 feet, Davis has the highest elevation of any West Virginia town. It is the gateway to year-round world class outdoor activities and sports in West Virginia.
Davis is home to a full grocery store, several convenience stores, breweries and pubs with live music, locally sourced restaurants, sports rentals, and a thriving art scene.

Just a over mile away is Davis's sister city, Thomas. Thomas is home to another bustling arts scene, live music at the Purple Fiddle, weekend art walks, and several restaurants and cafes.

WHAT TO DO
Blackwater Falls State Park is only a few minutes up the road. Be sure to visit the 57 foot cascading waterfall and enjoy their sled run. Scenic Lindy Point for sunrise or sunset, Elakala Falls, and Pendleton Point Overlook are other favorites. Visitors can enjoy scenic areas year-round by using the stairs and viewing platforms in the park. Other activities include cross-country skiing, geocaching, hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, snowboarding, and other outdoor adventures.

Canaan Valley State Park, 10 miles from Tiny Pines, is one of West Virginia's largest state parks. It is also a four-season destination on the high plateau in the Allegheny Mountains. Enjoy all of your favorite outdoor activities including golf, tennis, guided horseback rides, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, sleigh rides in the winter, and more.

The Charming Loft Cabin is available for remote workers and seasonal bookings. With high-speed WiFi, stay connected to work while connecting with nature. Please contact me for more information on extended stays. This home is furnished with a queen size memory foam bed upstairs with a dedicated workspace, and a full size sofa bed downstairs.

CAUTION: the stairs to the 2nd floor loft bedroom may not be suitable for all guests. This home may not be suitable for some guests who use assistive devices.

Perfect Chalet in a Quiet Neighborhood!!

This was a great stay for us! Everything was clean, and super organized with thoughtful touches everywhere. Bridget not only anticipates what you might need, but also provides strategically placed, helpful reminders that give guidance in solving any issues that might arise. The space was small, but comfortable. Steps to the loft are very steep, but what a cozy space at the top, complete with a perfect bed, and a breezy skylight! We absolutely loved the proximity to Blackwater Falls State Park, as well as the convenient location between Davis, Thomas, and Canaan Valley State Park. This was easily one of our favorite rentals. Thanks so much, Bridget!!

Pre-surgery w/e getaway…

Had a great visit to Davis, Thomas, Blackwater Falls and Lindy Point! Our little cabin was so nice, quaint and quiet and just the perfect size for 2 adults. Our host, Bridget, was awesome as well as she answered any/all questions promptly and made our experience totally stress free! Can’t wait to go back !

I enjoyed my stay. Place was small but cute, nice size for two people. Would stay again. Wish there was more provided for our stay. We ran out of trash bags and could not find any dish towels or sponges. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Amazing!!

This cabin is amazing! Everything is so close by you can go to the state park and back in just a few minutes. If I had to have a complaint it would just be with how squeaky the loft is but it just adds to the charm. I also had some problems with getting the heating to work but that could definitely be my fault. I would recommend this cabin to anyone in a heartbeat!

Ideal Mountain Loft

This rental is a cozy and comfortable loft apartment in a perfect location. Close to Blackwater Falls State Park and the hidden gems of Davis and Thomas in the mountains of West Virginia. We were only passing through for a one night rest on our way back south but we would love to return and stay longer.
