Mountain Serenity – Stunning Home Above Mirror Lake with Private Suites

Mountain Serenity is a gorgeous, spacious retreat located just above the Mirror Lake Recreation Area, offering a perfect blend of peaceful seclusion and convenience. With four primary suites, each featuring a King or Queen bed and private bath, this home is ideal for multiple couples seeking their own private space.

Inside, the home boasts beautiful woodwork in the common areas and large windows that frame stunning views of the outdoors. If the view isn't enough, cozy up in the living area with a 42" flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace.

The basement offers a full recreation room with a billiards table, foosball, a card table, and a TV, plus a sectional couch surrounding a gas fireplace—perfect for relaxation and fun.

Outside, enjoy a wraparound deck, gas grill, hot tub, and an outdoor fire pit—all in a serene, wooded setting. The home is also equipped with air conditioning for your comfort during the warmer months.

Just minutes from Davis and Thomas, and all the amenities of Canaan Valley, this home offers the ideal base for your mountain getaway.

Family time

Over all we had a wonderful time. Great place to relax. House is amazing, room for everyone. The one thing we didn't like was there was a lot of road noise when you trying to set outside.

Nice clean pretty house. We had a really nice stay here!

House is very nice. Really like the big foyer for dropping off snow gear, coats etc. Nice size bedrooms with baths! Great kitchen dining living open area. Wish there was at least a half bath in the rec area. Wish we were a bit farther from road noise. Appreciate easy check in and out. Close to pretty much everything.

Beautiful home just a short distance from all the parks!

This home is less than five miles from both Timberline and Canaan Valley Resorts. Blackwater Falls is less than ten miles away. The house is spacious and very clean. Four bedrooms with private baths in each. A well equipped kitchen and plenty of sitting areas. This was a perfect holiday escape for our family ; the area has so many activities to offer. The driveway is a little steep so in winter, be sure to have a vehicle that can make the climb. Five stars all around for this home.

Perfect for a group

We had a very nice week-long stay in this spacious comfortable house. Bedrooms are comfortable. Kitchen is large and well equipped. There are lots of comfortable seating areas. The location is perfect for a stay in the Davis/Canaan Valley area. The fact that there are four bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms makes it ideal for groups of friends, or in our case for a stay with adult children. There were a few minor negatives. The water pressure in the upstairs bathrooms isn't great, and the pool and foosball tables have seen better days. It would have been nice if one of the TVs was a smart TV so that we could access Netflic, etc. But these are very minor issues and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful vacation home

This was such a beautiful vacation home. My husband and I stayed there with our two adult daughters and their husbands. It was perfect because there are four large bedrooms, all with joining bathrooms. There was a great large kitchen with all the usual cookware. Lots to do: Jacuzzi, pool table, foosball table, and a corn hole game, as well as a fire pit outside. Short walk to the lake with tons of kayaks and paddleboards for your use. The views from inside and outside the house were gorgeous! Very close to several beautiful waterfalls and the cute town of Davis and Thomas. I highly recommend this house for a relaxing stay! I was concerned about a recent review, but the house was in immaculate shape and had plenty of everything you could need, towels, etc.

Anything but serene

Horrible stay. Jetted tub full of mold, shower leaking sewer gas, water heater terribly insufficient. 2 other houses and a busy road within a couple hundred feet. Constant noise pollution. Front 2 burners on the stove barely work. In door ice does not work,, and water is barely a trickle.. No response from company when we initially noticed issues. When I emailed them about my terrible experience, they essentially called me a liar. Not only will I never rent from them again, but this experience makes me weary of ever using any vacation rental property again.
