"The property is immaculately maintained, with an excellent staff and wonderful hosts (Jim and Leslie). Easy drive to Durango, hot springs, Purgatory ski slopes, etc make this one of my favorite B-N-Bs. The morning breakfast is just cherries on top!"

"All camp sites were booked out so we found this little gem. Would recommend as it is newly renovated and the host was super nice and hopeful. Allllllot nicer than motels/hotels/hostels nearby and nearly the same price. Bonus little outside fire pit!"

"Nice old vintage feeling hotel. With working neon sign ! The lobby has beer decorations and the owner was very nice. Room was clean and everything worked in there. Yeah there was some small stuff with drywall a Karen could complain about but it didn’t bother us. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"Beautiful historic hotel central to downtown Durango. Easy walking to all the shops and restaurants in the area, as well as the Durango Train. You’ll feel like you stepped back into the 19th century. Definitely worth the visit if you are looking for an authentic old west experience. The bathroom could stand an update, but it was kept very clean and met our expectations for an older historic hotel."

"Not really what’s advertised. The place is clean enough but could definitely use some updating. The mattress was AWFUL. Water was hot and pressure decent. The one staff I interacted with wasn’t exactly friendly, wasn’t exactly rude, just projected being bored or annoyed that she was there. Didn’t see any “free coffee.” The place is just a little hyped up on the website but what you get is a very basic, bland place to shower and sleep (but not well). Also, the pool is available “seasonally” but...

"Charged us for the hotel stay one day early, before we even arrived, and when we called about it, the front desk was rude and angry at us, even though no hotel we've EVER stayed at charges a day early, she acted like it was completely normal. WORST ROOM I'VE EVER STAYED IN. A shoebox, with no room to move, the bed took up all the space in the room. PAY TE EXTRA MONEY TO STAY ELSEWHERE. It's not worth it, trust me. We left a day early because it was unbearable."

"We loved staying here but the train whistles early in the morning ensure a guaranteed early start to your day. We were getting on the train one of the days but the other would have liked to of slept in a bit. Not the hotel's fault though"
