We got there early and it was such a process to just find out if we could check in early. However they said there was no rooms available and we could come back around 1pm we did and still no rooms we left came back around 3ish and finally got our room. In the morning went for breakfast and it was a huge turn off for me. I get that you can’t control the mess that guests make but that is why you should be well staffed so that someone is keeping the food area clean. It seemed to be only one woman working all the food was just about empty. I asked the lady if there was anymore oatmeal and she said no English so I then asked in Spanish and she just made a face and did not answer. My irritation was like a simple answer would have been fine but she just walked off so fine I figured I would just get something different. After limited options I see her bringing hot food breakfast Sandwiches 2 pieces at a time. I thought as you are bringing the food out why not bring a kitchen towel and wipe up area cause it looks disgusting. So back to my room I called front office to see if we could get a late check out and was told they would call me back and let me know 30 minutes go by still no call so I called back and was told she was getting permission and had messaged her boss and still had not got a response. I have never heard this before anytime I’ve ever wanted to do late check out it’s not an issue. Finally I got a call saying we could check out 1 hour later than check out.
