Family time!

Loved the location in that we were able to walk to the historic district and enjoy the activities. The home had many lovely upgrades. Great job on bathrooms.

Great location, great house, perfect family rental

We had an amazing time staying in McKinney at this house. The owners are very kind and helpful. The location could not get any better and there were two days where we didn’t drive anywhere just walked. Finch park is right down the road and perfect for my almost 5-year-old to get some energy out. We ate at some great local places including Square Burger, Local Yocal, and Tupps Brewery, all within walking distance. Will definitely be staying again here the next time we come to McKinney! Oh, the house has three larger bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A smaller kitchen so 6 people was a bit cramped but we like each other so it wasn’t a big deal. Newest appliances and easy check out. We met all the owners and were able to put names with faces. All in all, a great family vacation.

Blue Horizon

My husband and I stayed at Blue Horizon while visiting visiting our son who lives in Whiteboro. We knew we wanted to check out the sites in Dallas and Fort Worth so the location of Blue Horizon worked well for us. The charming McKinney downtown area was a nice surprise! Our host, Tammy was very accommodating and always got back to us with any questions we had. I am a bit of a clean freak and the inside of the house was very clean.The backyard was well maintained but not inviting. All in all Blue Horzon fit the bill for us.

Enjoyed It

The location is perfect. The home is an older home, but pretty well updated given the space considerations. We very much appreciated the well-stocked coffee supply. If possible to install, a ceiling fan in the master bedroom would be a nice addition.

Stayed here for daughter's wedding with some friends. Perfect location for us. The VRBO was well stocked with spices, containers, bed linens/blankets, dishes to cook with and store items in refrigerator. Thank you Tammy!

Great location. Close to local restaurants. Home was well furnished. Property Managers/Owners provided outstanding service . Will definitely use the property again for future visits to NcKinney.

So convenient to historic downtown McKinney!

We enjoyed our stay in this nicely updated home. It’s a short walk to the downtown McKinney square and all it’s nice shops and restaurants. The home was very comfortable and the owner was very easy to work with. Would stay here again.

Downtown McKinney

We stayed at this property for our wedding reception in downtown McKinney. The house was perfect. Updated kitchen, updated bathrooms. The location was fantastic. Maybe a 4 minute walk into downtown, almost the same distance as parking in the parking garage. Highly recommended

Perfect for a family weekend!

Literally exactly as advertised. Very short walk to vibrant downtown square with historic brick buildings, art galleries and shops, lots of restaurant options. The house itself was so thoughtfully set up for guests. Lots of details - high quality towels, plenty of pillows and blankets, lots of outlets, well appointed kitchen, plenty of paper products. Backyard was fenced in and safe for our dog. Checkout procedures were minimal - took 10 minutes tops. Perfect perfect vacation rental. The owner/manager really knows what she's doing and cares about guest experience. Does not feel as though any corners were cut at all.

The location to town was great! The house had everything we needed for a long weekend. Also, we had a bonus of being right on the 4th of July parade route. People would walk by and say they loved our house.

Overall great experience.

We had issues with the hot water, the owner was on site within 10 minutes to show us how to fix it. We couldn’t use both showers at the same time or the breaker would flip, but we at least appreciate the transparent communication the owners had with us and how quickly they responded when we brought the issue to their attention!

Perfect place & perfect spot

Tammy was a joy to work with, welcoming, helpful and a great communicator. The house is DARLING! The pictures are accurate. It’s so cute when you walk in. The bathrooms are especially nice- new updated. The kitchen too. What we didn’t know this when booked but it’s walking distance to downtown McKinney- the shops & restaurants and there is a great park close by too! Perfect place & perfect location!
